Tire rotation with only 1 jack! (Solution = FAIL!)
Do not use in aluminum.. The acidic contents of the pods will oxidize and ruin the aluminum.
I did all these steps and it worked out great! It’s just taking quite a long time to cool down now. The evaporator fan doesn’t turn on.
Glad it worked for you! Give it some time and see if it kicks on and if it doesn’t maybe go back and check to be sure a wiring harness wasn’t disturbed
We are encountering the same issue, we don’t have the part under the filter. But water is not getting hot and dishes are dripping wet after 2 hour cycle. Model # GDP665SYN3FS
I’m having a hard time finding any kind of service manual for that one I’m gonna keep looking into it and not check back with you
this is a life saver, thanks alot, really appreciate it
You are very welcome! Thanks for watching!
extremely useful review, thanks - im heading out to purchase the same saw horse 👍
Thank you very much! I think they are a great set, especially at that price point. Thanks for watching and good luck with them!
Awesome video! Thanks for the info on the tester
Thanks for the feedback and you are very welcome! Thanks for watching!
I dont understand, i just opend the media player and left it open and then i opened the g hub and it still didint work

I find these nest in all the time 😂
Sucks right! I think I might have a solution. Watch for a new video coming soon! Thanks for watching!
NICE! That was a great vid! I was entertained and that did the trick! LOVED the gopro "did that actually work?" shot. If I was really reaching to complain, maybe shine your light up from the bottom at the moving spray arm (?) <damn peanut gallery> 😁 Thanks again!
Lol, thanks much! I’m so happy to hear it helped you. I’ll definitely keep your suggestion in mind the next time I have to do something like this. Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much. We had the same issue. You're instructions were excellent! You did fail to mention needing to be a contortionist at times to complete this 😂 Again, thanks.
You are very welcome, I’m so happy it helped you. You’re not the first person to mention the contortionist- hmmmmm… maybe I should begin the video with a yoga class 😂. Thanks for the compliments and thanks a ton for watching!
Great video!!! My problem was a bit different. I had the same plugged drain line with calcium build-up on the rubber fitting mating with the evaporator tray drain (see 2:00 time point in video). Seem like a poor design with 2 tiny slits as he shows also in video. I cleaned that rubber fitting out with vinegar and I was good to go. I didn't have all the freezing in the evaporator tray that he had to deal with so mine was MUCH easier to deal with. Good luck!
Thanks for the comment! I hope the video helped and thanks for watching!
Thank you for your video. My dishwasher is fixed now because of it. Also, stay bold in your witness for Jesus Christ.
So happy that it helped you out. Thank you for the encouragement! May God bless you!
I cleaned mine out and blew in the top to unclog. Now it works
Nice, good job! Glad it’s working for you. Hope the video helped you out. Thank for watching!
**PAY ATTENTION ***FYI, it'll continue to freeze over like that if you don't move the heat conductor from the condenser coil to the heater coil. Pause video at 4:29 and you can see a piece of aluminum rod attached to the condenser coil like a little hook. THATS WRONG! The manufacturer assembled it incorrectly. You need to move that "hook" just behind the condenser coil to the heater coil so it can transfer the heat and keep the drain hole from freezing over AGAIN...ask me how I know...besides that minor but absolutely crucial detail this video is great!
Great tip, I had no idea either. I’ll have to go back and take a look. Thanks for sharing this!
thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss its worked.......i spent 5 hours for thus now its fixed.......tnx dudeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Perfect! Just completed it. Thank you. How do we prevent from happening again?
Great job! And you are very welcome. I would just check that drain tube every 6 months or so. Maybe more if you live in a humid climate. Thanks for watching!

Logitech software really sucks!
doesnt work?
Sorry. It does only work on a limited # of configurations. I hope you can find a solution. Have you tried running it as an administrator? Sometimes that works. Thanks for watching!
Can you please help me. I tried going into uninstall so many times and the software doesn't pop up. I just canot unstinall it in any way please help me, i am literally suffering. Every time I try to open the software it gives me a popup saying the qt5coreDLL is messed up an reinstalling would fix it. THATS THE PROBLEM WHEN I TRY TO REINSTALL IT I CANT BECAUSE ITS JUST STUCK ON INSTALLING
I’m more of a Mac/ipad guy myself. I just found this when trying to help my son. But in your case you might want to try deleting it directly from the directory instead of windows installer. If you can find it on your C: drive and delete the entire folder, restart then download a fresh copy from Logitech it may work. Let me know what happens.
Thank you, helped me a lot
You are most welcome! I’m glad it helped you. Thanks for watching!

Yes!! Ours leaks and wont make ice
Do you have the ice maker up top or on the bottom
I don’t see a heating element like yours
What model do you have?

@@dadfixdit I guess it’s irrelevant that I don’t have a visible heating element, I do have the exact same float switch I just got the part today which fixed the heating issue Thanks

Thanks for this tutorial. Having the same problem with mine. Going to tackle it this weekend.
You’ve got this! Let me know how you make out. Thanks for watching!
Excellent! Thank you! My GE Profile design is slightly different, but this video got me to where I needed. I took off the tube, which has a U-bend at the bottom of it, did a quick blow on it, and the black junk that splashed up on my arm was truly a site to see! Yuck! In my case, I only had a small amount of ice on the bottom of the freezer compartment; just a layer maybe 3mm thick. I think my drain line was like 98% clogged, so enough such that some water could eke out. But sometimes, my fridge goes on a "wild super freeze" cycle, where it keeps running, and running, and running until, past -9F (which it appears is the min temp it will read; it actually gets colder), and that may be when it then does a "super defrost" phase, leading to more water, some of which leaks. I haven't been able to figure out why it does that. As far as the water leak goes, I'm not 100% sure I'm out of the woods yet, but keeping my fingers crossed, and again, the junk in that tube was incredible! Glad to clear that out!I have done a lot of work on this fridge over the last several years, which included design of a circuit / system to stop the water dispenser freeze-up problem Involves a couple of power resisters, steel epoxy, and more--I wish I had filmed it! They make a kit for that, but it fell apart; it was just a thin curly wire (nicrome?), with metal tape. The silver lining is that it helped identify power tap-in points.
Wow sounds like this fridge has given you a run for your money. I wish you had filmed your creation too! Keep me posted on your water situation. Thanks for watching!
Just a couple of comments... that job is so much easier if you remove the freezer door. Its held on by bolts to the rails, just get that out of the way. Your drain tube needs something to keep air from going back up that tube, that's what that black device is supposed to do. GE has a redesigned drain for that model that is less prone to clogging.
Thanks for the comments. Yeah it could definitely be easier but for folks who may be intimidated it can be a little easier to just leave the door on but you make a good point! I’m glad to hear they redesigned the drain. Thanks for watching!

How do you keep the straw from getting sucked into the vacuum?
It should have enough friction from being forced past the valve. Thanks for watching!
How do you get the drawers out
The top sliding drawer lifts off of the lower basket and the bottom basket is in the drawer slides by gravity so once the sliding top basket is out you can safely lift out the bottom. You dont really need to take off the slides and front of lower drawer. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video and the link to the part! Seemed like this was my issue and for such an easy replacement and sub 20 dollar part, said what the heck and ordered it. I had a lot of sediment down in there that probably clogged things up. Cleaned it all up, swapped the part, and it’s back like new!
Nice job! You should be proud of tackling it yourself. I’m glad the video helped. Thanks for watching!
I have a question: your repair will fix my problem if it have no hot water in the dishwasher? I have water is coming in, but dishes aren’t totally clean especially with oils or grease on the dishes, and I do notice its not hot inside the dishwasher after the dishwasher run. I do know my hot water heater IS working when the dishwasher is on….
There’s a good chance it could fix your problem. As with all of these appliances there could be multiple issues. But if your dishwasher isn’t heating the water above what your regular water heater puts out (hot water fill line) then yes, this may be your solution. The water that comes from your water heater isn’t hot enough to effectively clean or sanitize your dishes because if it was it would burn you. You need the heating element in the dishwasher to add extra heat to clean well. If you do a deep dive on the web you may be able to find a service manual that lets you activate the heating element to see if it works. If not, this is at least a cheap solution to try and you can probably return it if it doesn’t work. Thanks for watching!
@@dadfixdit thank you kindly for the prompt response! I will give it a try and hopefully this works.
Thanks for the review! I just read in the comments that your pump is about 3/4 HP strong and wow, that's impressive how long this Ecoflow unit was able to keep it running.
It’s a nice little unit. The pump only runs in short bursts so that really helps. If it ran continuously it would probably only last about 45 min or so. The Delta 2 is a good choice for someone who would be gone longer or has a more powerful pump. But I like it a lot, it’s been a handy thing to have around. Thanks for watching!
You can buy predators piss and put just a tiny bit on the frame somewhere and it will keep any rodents from nesting or chewing wires. They sell it for cars you put it under the hood and it keeps them away
That is a fantastic idea! Thank you so much. I’m going to look into that now. Thanks for watching!
Dang.. my cousin had a family of mice in one of his old dirtbike seat and muffler
They are such a pain. I need an outdoor cat lol Thanks for watching!
I just went thru this today. I was wondering if the drain heater needs to be replaced as well …
Was the little drain clogged with gunk? If it was just wait a week or two and see if when the fridge goes into defrost mode the water drains out. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! We had this exact problem and your easy to follow guidance got the problem resolved in a little over an hour.
Great work! I’m so glad it helped you out. You should be proud of getting it done yourself. Thanks for watching!

Great Video! I have a 1hp Drummond Sump Pump that I'm planning on pairing with EcoFlow Delta 2 to power it. Delta 2 shows a rating of 1024w with 1800 xboost. I have 4000w gas powered generator but when Im away at work I cannot start it obviously. Drummond unfortunately doesn't share their specifications for runtime and startup wattage so its hard to calculate the possible run time with Delta 2. Only info I got is 10amp and 120v. Im assuming that would be it's running time and not the startup. Since you have 3/4 HP pump, do you think Delta 2 would be sufficient enough during the maximum of 8 hours of being away at work?
Thanks for the feedback! So there are a few things to consider. A 1 HP pump should be pulling about 746 Watts during normal run. During startup you can probably expect it to surge to 1100 to maybe even 1300 watts (possibly more) but that’s only briefly. The Delta 2 has a rating of 1024 Wh which means if your pump ran (not including startup and zero losses internal to the unit- which doesn’t happen) it would be able to run it continuously for 1.3 hours. Now you have to take into account your startup surge and the losses internal to the EcoFlow for running the inverter and that prolly brings it down to 1.1 hrs. The next question to ask is how long does the pump take to cycle and during a big rain event how many cycles per hour will it run? If it only runs for 30 seconds and 10 times per hour that’s just 5 minutes per hour over 8 hours that would be 40 minutes of total run. Then add in the losses mentioned earlier and you’re probably at 50 minutes which should still be somewhat safe. I hope this all makes sense. Feel free to ask any more questions. I’m more than happy to help.
@@dadfixdit i appreciate the comment and information shared. I have contacted Drummond the person i talked to doesnt seem to know the specifics as well… or not confident with it at all. They did mentioned the startup surge is 13amps which would be 1,560 watts which Delta 2 would be able to handle… but they also said the running wattage is 1200 watts (120v x 10amp) which I find odd and doesn’t sound right. I’d understand if it was in that 750-800 watt range.
@@immanuelreyes4580 yeah running wattage seems a little high but maybe its more than 1 HP. It should have a nameplate right on it that gives a lot of those details. But i think the Delta 2 would be fine. You could at least try it then worst case scenario you buy one of the add on batteries to expand its capacity. I know it’s a lot of $ but the peace of mind is invaluable.
@@dadfixdit I just purchased one Delta 2 to try it out. If it gives me an hour of usage. I may just purchased another one and connect it together.
Great hack! Just found this video in August 2024, and am super thankful as I have one of those 12 ft inflatable ring pools outside with a stubborn inflatable pool edge ring that doesn't want to easily deflate. This will hopefully help me out a lot since I have those exact reusable straws and a shop vac. Thank you!
I hope it saves you a ton of time. Let me know how it works for you. Good luck with it and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. I'm interested in using this for my sump pump.
You’re very welcome. I think it’s a pretty good solution. Power outages seem to be more regular these days so a little peace of mind is worth it. Make sure you check out the first video too. Thanks for watching!
Sadly this doesn't work anymore for me on Windows 10 as of Septermber 2024. Many thanks to you and your commenters, though, for the brief glimmer of hope.
Oh man that stinks, I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. Logitech needs to get its act together. I hope you can find a solution. Oh and you tried running it as an administrator right? Thanks for watching!
