I have been learning photoshope since 2011. I watched various photoshope tutorial both inside and outside of youtube. Your videos are more useful than most of the paid tutorial videos. Your style of teaching behind the seen logic in photoshope is superb. This is the main uniqueness of your videos which most of other's tutorial doesn't teach. I always watch your every videos. I salute your passion. Long live "PiXimperfect".
Mahalo friend! I graduated with a business degree in beautiful Hawaii, and now I'm going to self teach myself magnificent graphic designs. By self teach I mean watch all your videos and do a challenge for each one. =) Mahalo
It is really helpful when you make sense explaining the different ways of doing actually the same thing in Photoshop. And also why one way may sometimes be easier because of some small tweak in that tool... Photoshop, and many other complex software, can be scary for newbies. But having someone to "demystify" the tools really helps. Thanks so very much for a splendid tutorial.
OMG you explain everything so simply that it actually makes learning Photoshop fun. I always was a bit afraid of using Photoshop and only used Lightroom and Corel Photo Paint for some things, but watching your videos I have been using Photoshop more often and been using Frequency Separation, different masks and brushes on my own, after learning the process with your videos. You should be called the Photoshop Ambassador Visionary Explorer . Like always, great video and excellent explanation of Similarities and Differences of Color Balance and Curves.
WTF. You're like the only Photoshop instructor who actually explains WHY these features work instead of just WHAT they look like. Unfortunately I didn't see your channel two years earlier. Fortunately I subscribed just now.
Wow! In just 13mins you have demystifyed the Curves tool in PS and exactly what it can be used for. I’ve watched loads of videos online and bought some paid courses that have not explained it as well as you did. Glad I came across your video & channel. Well explained!!👏🏾👏🏾 Thank you.
This one is my first comment to any youtube channel. This is why because you make the things easier to get in. I am totally impressed with your ideology and your way of putting stuff over here.I am new in photography and all so plz let me know is there any video in your channel that explains function of curve Thanks for such a lovely video 🙏
I have been using Photoshop since CS2 days. I have done the Classroom in a Book tuts. I have formed my own maverick techniques and skill sets over those years. And this guy made me realise I know nothing really.
I always discarded color balance in photoshop. My thought was "I can just use curves, turn the blending option to color, and boom. I only effect color." That's an extra step and you have to be really good at curves to get a good result. Much easier and you get very similar results. Thanks for the tutorial.
THANK YOU! So much positivity and the way you explain it. The biggest laic would understand. Albert Einstain said: The hardest thing for a human to be is simple and my sir you are just that! Thank you once more, always enjoy watching your videos
Your communication delivery is very good therefore i made myself a fan of you... Your tutorials are very easy to understand although im not good in english
You are an expert in ps Watched some video as got interested on just the topic... But learned a looot of tricks in a single video itself Amazing work bro .. keep making more and keep making is a pro in ps ....
Great, enthusiastic tutorial =) Much more interesting to follow than many tuts. Pity the adds pop ups are annoying lol. Very handy, helpful and simple to follow. Thanks!
You're my mentor! I wanna teach like you're and I've already started on my channel, thanks so much for the good information you've been giving us. You're the best!
Same. Still, there's a convenience at times (especially when going back to fine tune the color balance more than once) to have the color balance sliders right there in front of you rather than having to repeatedly select each color curve and tweak it as in the curves aadjustment. But ultimately, the end result should be the same.
@@Analisem1 It's not quite the same. If you're in Color mode you'll need a second curve set to Luminosity with a matching shift in the combined RGB to match the final result as in Color Balance, or just use Normal blend mode and alter the RGB as he does in this video. Test it, you'll see. "Preserve Luminosity" is confusing - I thought it worked this way too (just curves in color), at first but its definitely different behind the scenes and tries to balance the color shifts with an overall RGB move.
Thanks for the work. I am using different software and I really appreciated that you do not use keyboard shortcuts. Your presentation makes the application understandable on different platforms.

Or just put the curves' blending mode to "color" and it will preserve the luminosity just like the color balance.
I was gonna put the exact same comment
