I ADORE how this track acts as a signal to show how your character is emotionally crumbling at the mere thought of playing with blowing their brains out. Like they're already late, they know they'll gamble, they have to, or want to, but they also don't want to. The dealer is addiction, the final blow really is your coffin. Their hands shake, you feel the tension through the screen, and you both feel the relief when the blank is what you've shot your head with. I love how God lost I love how the playable character is desperate I love to see stories about barely holding on to dear life, while life is misery but also what we know.
What fucks me up is the demon doesn't even try to cheat. He plays completely fairly. Most non-demon dealers don't even do that. The demon seems to be totally obsessed with the concept of chance and fate
I was very surprised when I first used the “handcuffs” item. Hey, this guy's hands exist independently of him; What's the point of putting bracelets on non-existent wrists? But he tied himself up and meekly withstood both hits. And when it was his turn, some unknown force unfastened the handcuffs, as if such a possibility had always been there. This demon gambler definitely enjoys the process, paying for consumables, a resuscitator and a jackpot for playing with him. If I were Mike, I would add more mask/face variations and link this to the fact that the dealer is interested in keeping the current player at the table for as long as possible: - the demon's face becomes crazier with each round, until it eventually shows perverted ecstasy if the player decides to play another game instead of receiving a prize; - the faster the player decides to make a move and use items, the faster the animations of the player and the Dealer are played; - a second before the moment when the player discharges a live cartridge into himself and the AI calculates that it is a live cartridge, the Croupier for a second expresses fear/indignation like “no, wait, the evening has just begun”; however, this happens too late to do anything, but soon enough to understand that now, most likely (but not definitely), there will be a fireworks from the brains; - a similar but positive/condescending reaction occurs if the AI is sure that there is a blank cartridge in the shotgun and the player is shooting at him; - in case the previous 2 cases turned out to be a false count by the AI, Diller becomes obsessed like “oh yeah, I love how unpredictable this guy is! I'll let him kick in my office door all night long!”; - you can come up with something else like this.

Just realized that the "AFRAID" graffito on the mirror has a question mark at the end of it. Such a minor detail makes the remark go from the last words of fear from some individual you will probably never meet, to a taunt. Do it, pussy, walk through that door, test your luck. You know it's bad, but fuck, what else are you going to do? This game really nails that hopeless feeling.
The dealer plays by the rules and he's gambling his own life too, just like how god did with his life. You can choose "God" or "Dealer" to be put on the contract at the begining but if you do, it will deny and make you search to another name because they are already taken. You can get "God" by one of the items you collect, it's a contract but all bloodied up and the dealer's fairly simple, he's right in front of you.

this song is perfect for this game. it starts off with building tension then gets to a very soothing tones and rhythm. just like if you were playing russian roulette. you bring the gun up to your head as your heartbeat gets faster just for your nerves to be soothed as you hear it click signifying an empty round
