I genuinely hope something like this happens. Reminds me of *Supernatural,* where Lucifer's interactions with the other angels ultimately boiled down to a cosmic family squabble. Only here, he wasnt "jealous of the new baby", but believed he was doing mankind a service by giving Eve the apple, and feels he was unjustly punished.
Ok but legit....thats was a good showing of how much michael foes still care for his brother, they are both hurt from what happened, both feel betrayed and honestly this showed both are not in the wrong but just need to talk and repair their family bonds. Something i believe charlie can do. Ive seen alot that depics michael as an asshole but considering the stories of michael care deeply for humanity and deeply for his fellow angels. I hated how he was shown as an asshole in so many things. This was a breath of fresh air.

I love it that Gabriel is Lucifer's favourite brother and he was one of the few that actually liked his ideas and wanted to protect Lucifer and Lilith from Michael when the events at eden happened, but Lucifer and Lilith told him not to stick his neck out for something they did.

From my point of view, even in this comic, it just seems like Heaven wants control and runs away from discomfort. Then they choose to kill those they oppress because they're worried that their little society might be on the chopping block.
Mainly I think it boils down to the same thing that happens with us- nobody, not angels, demons, or anything in creation, has a perfect society. Perfection is something that no being with the gift of thought, whether alien or otherwise, can really 'have'. It is simply not possible.

I hope Hazbin Hotel does go with something like this. Just as how Christianity is flawed but not evil by nature, I feel that the conflict(s) with Heaven in the show ought to be a grey. One where those in charge of Heaven may have gotten carried away with maintaining order, but only did so because of an Angel who thought he knew better and made a careless decision without thinking of the consequences. After all, if Lucifer is going to be the ruler of the Pride Ring, he ought to exhibit that very characteristic in his personality.
I honestly would want to live in hell and be considered a villain than live the rest of eternity as some blind, thoughtless puppet to a God that wanted humanity to be unable to make their own choices, and given what christians did in history, it's the right choice It seems, if i have to be good it's because I CHOSE IT, not because I was forced to be like so Think about It, would It even be true goodness if It was forced from above onto us?

You know what a Lucifer/Michael reunion needs? A soft, instrumental version of “More Than Anything”. The brothers WISH they could just reconcile over a duet but the wounds are too deep for that.

If you’re reading behind the emotions of the characters, is that certain aspects will tell you how they’re really feeling, if you notice Lucifer, the more honest parts of him are his eyes and his tail his tail is wrapped around himself in a self soothing gesture because he’s anxious and likely frightened and upset by the confrontation. Michael’s aspect is part of his angelic manifestation in his tie, if you notice the eye it goes from wide and observing to getting smaller and smaller until when he’s finally having to play stern with Lucifer, the eye is crying because it doesn’t want to talk down to and judge him this way, but all the resentment and anger and anxiety that Michael has is all he’s able to express right now
Was he? I found his argument lackluster. Lucifer whining is not a good response, but Michael has yet to provide a coherent case for why those who felt pain deep within their soul for a few decades need to be exiled to DAMNATION FOR ETERNITY!
The funniest thing is, if Lucifer stopped the pity party for himself, he could redefine Hell from prison to kingdom. Sure it might not have the majesty of Heaven, but if he implemented other institutions to either help reform or hold unreformable sinners, Hell could potentially become a better paradise than Heaven given time.

Seeing these makes me want to see the other angels in the Helluverse. I absolutely love the interactions between Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. Hopefully we'll see them in the series going forward and I would also like to see Charlie meet her Uncles.
It honestly took me a second watch to notice that Michael's tie was showing Michael's true feelings. The way that it kept looking away and even when it was crying. Those two really do love each other in a brotherly way, but the circumstances that led to this argument must have been emotionally challenging for the two of them.
I really hope a part 2/ continuation comes soon. This would be an interesting arc... even if it's not canon. Nice work. I also want more details about the scene with Micheal getting hurt... ?
