It's a shame this game never got ported over to the Sega Genesis. Two Crude Dudes was pretty cool but I would have much preferred this original than the sequel. Aside from reducing some of the colors and cutting back the total amount of enemies on screen at once it could have been more than possible. Especially back then as Data East was on a roll with releasing games for the platform in the early 90s. I've read a couple people say the game was past it's prime and too old back when the Genesis was hot. One of my all time favorites! I'm BAD!
Patman can you do a history of San Francisco Rush and its sequels. One of my favorite racing games that I wish would get a collection for switch. Would love to see you talk about those great racing games. Have a good one.
I think the blue cans in the japanese version of the game look a lot more like cans of Pocari Sweat than Pepsi. Also fantastic and informative vid as always!!
Wonderful game! We dropped so many quarters into this machine
So did I :-)
I’ve played this game I don’t know how many times and never knew you could charge the punch.
Glad I could help :-)
I think the cans are blue for Pocari Sweat. It’s like a Gatorade.
Yes, never knew this existed
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries it's even got the swirl :D
I can't believe they have Karnov "Flipping You the Bird" in the Amstrad version. Yeah, that's easily the best version now, lol
"The mean streets of IOWA"
you have my like sir
LOL thanks buddy, I sure do appreciate it
Awesome video
Thanks!
I thought you did this game already. That's cool, though. It's one of my all-time favorites and good to see again.
I put hundreds of quarters into this game. The campground i stayed at had this and a pinball machine
It's funny because I can recall my campground having arcade games as well
I was 7 when this came out. That was my game too!! Was quarter using left & right on this one. LOL
Loved this as a kid
So did I
freaking great Game! One of my all time favorites!
Mine too!
Excellent as always 😊 also, 24:45 it says "Paul Owens" in Japanese on the side of the truck. I'm sure one of the developers or something for that version
Thanks for the info! He actually worked on the spectrum version so good call on that! Thanks
If this game was made today, it would be like "President Joey has been kidnapped, YAY"
13:42 yeah especially the Newport KY White Castle 😉😂😂😂
Thanks for the vid. If you ever make it to Japan I'll take you to the vintage arcade I go to that has a bunch of side scrolling BEU games that never made it stateside.
That sounds pretty cool, always wanted to visit Japan. Thanks for the invite :-)
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries no problem. There's also a place out here that sells vintage games called "Super Potato" because this is Japan and of course there'd be a place called "Super Potato".
You perform the spinning kick by pressing the attack button immediately after pressing jump, not at the same time.
Oh! nostalgia kicks in when I hear the "I'm Vlad" of the NES.
Time runs faster
LOL, pure 1980s
I bought it on the playstation network. It's still a great game to play to this day in my opinion 😃
I agree it's a lot of fun
Good video 👍
Arnie was busy with the maid in those days. 😊
LOL!
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries Any plans to cover the trainwreck that is the Amico?
Was it just me or did the music in Bad Dues, especially in the Train section had a very Bloody Tears-esq sound to it, great game I need to go back and replay.
I always enjoyed it
I loved the NES version as a kid. Got the arcade version on my AtGames Legends Ultimate; love it even more.
Oh yes, the arcade version is great
Thanks
I had the Commodore 64 version as a kid. Liked it a lot, but it was sooo hard. Never got further than the forest.
If use the jump kick a lot it does help but yes it was difficult
