Vivian Should've been in Dio from day 1 till Ronnie's passing. Best guitarist Dio had ever had with all due respect to Goldy, Robertson and Aldrich who are as equally great guitarists but Vivian will always be THE Dio guitarist.

Saw Dio open for Aerosmith at Compton Terrace in Phoenix. I made sure to be right in front of Vivian. He could tell I knew the fresh albums songs,...and he rocked it.
It seems I'll have to start following Last in Line to get close to Vivian. 😮 There's no way you can ever get this near, whilst watching him with Def Leppard. ❤
Once the DIO nostalgia wore off after the first couple of albums, he's the reason I stopped following them. Too limited in range, too shouty and lacking melody.
He just doesn't carry his stretch his words out like Dio. He just ends the word in songs. I've seen there stuff thru you tube only but singer is the week link to me. Little flat toned. Needs to be more melodic like Dio.
