Thank you very much. I was having a problem with my brine tank (salt dam). I emptied it, cleaned it out and hooked up the connections. But it leaked. I messed up on putting the split ring and ferrel on correctly. Thanks to your video I was able to fix the problem. I was getting ready to buy a new brine tank and float, but that won't be necessary.
Thanks! I bought a 5600 used and it wasn’t pulling brine. I took apart and got it to suck brine by bypassing the whole assembly so I knew it to do with the Brine float assembly. I was testing different parts but couldn’t figure it until I saw your video. The split ring was on backwards were it goes into the nut for the line going to the assembly!
It is the best video that I have seen for Fleck 5600 sxt system. I just bought this system and trying to install, this video really helps. Thank you so much
Thank You so much. Great Video! Couldn't remember how this went together. Now I need to figure how to connect the other end to my Fleck 5600 Econominder where one uses the little screen?
Extremely helpful. THANKS! I believe I am smarter than the average bear, but I was completely stumped by that multi part brine hose connection until I saw your video.
It kinda depends on the connection type, but usually that brass insert is optional. Try hooking it up without it and then force a regeneration. If the system is able to pull the brine solution OUT of the tank, then all is good. If the fitting does not seal properly without the tube insert, the system will be able to FILL the brine tank but it won't be able to draw water OUT of the brine tank.
Hi Luiz - I'd be happy to help any way I can. I'm not sure what you mean "don't know flowchart". Please explain further and I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

Is there suppose to be water in the brine well tube?
Why does my brine tank overflow so much? Maybe a couple times a week. Thanks.
Great explanation... I needed that
Thanks.
You're welcome!
Very good - just got the 5810 delivered today
The brass fitting that is put into the end of the tubing, do you have to have it? Can you just insert the tubing without it?
It kinda depends on the connection type, but usually that brass insert is optional. Try hooking it up without it and then force a regeneration. It keeps the tube from collapsing. It just makes it a little stiffer so it won't push out of the connection.
where can we get longer brine line tubing? Couldn't find it at local home depot.
Bryan M you can get 25 feet roll at Lowe’s for around 6.00 as of 12/1 /18.
Should there be a bottom lid on the brine well?
I came here asking this question as well. Did you ever find an answer on a bottom lid on the brine well?
@@thoughtcrimnal84 same 😐
