Paid $4800 for it but was well maintained and had plugs and distributor done,water pump, the entire cooling system done, and fresh brakes and 235s put on. It’s been well taken care of and love finding videos out there on SR-20 cause not many are on RUclips alone
I daily drive a 2000 Highrider. 187k of pretty hard miles as an Iowa work truck but it’s still comfortable and very reliable. Shockingly, they can even outperform a modern Toyota. I’ve been on trails with a 2021 Tacoma where they were spinning tires and I just cut right through. They weigh a lot less than newer trucks. Driver door swung open as I was driving off the dealership lot and when I went to pull it shut the door panel came off lol. They’re a little rickety but these trucks just keep goin. Every town in the Midwest has at least one rusty ZR2 that refuses to die.
#ZR2code equipped models were just awesome back in the day! Fantastic little trucks. I hate “body lifts” too. They look hideous and makes the frame stick out like a sore thumb lol. I prefer the factory 3” lift with decent A/T or M/T on the factory ZR2 wheels.

Congrats on the new truck! I like it. The Tracker is beast though.
I think the tracker was more fun. I really wish I did more on that. Unfortunately the GMC is more fitting for me at the moment.
