I see both arguments on this. Yes it’s pretty clear DJ lost, but not 100000% clear. And for that amount of money you need to be extra super sure. They both should’ve had people at the line and I think a re-run was reasonable. On the flip side, DJ for sure would’ve been bullying the other side into paying if he was ahead where the other car was. So idk this one is a toss up.

I'm kind of new to the street racing scene but can someone clue me in as to why it's so difficult to judge these outcomes? If $10k is on the line, why are we not counting exactly a 1/8 or 1/4 of a mile, having clearly lit markers on both sides, and having one or multiple cameras facing perpendicular to the finish line in order to see exactly when the cars crossed the line? I guess I get it that you want to get in and out as quickly as possible, but all I see are arguments at the end of the race when there should be a clear cut victor.
