I've been to kiri-kiri prison, not because I committed a crime, but because the person who sent me there wanted to show that he was a lawyer on the bases that I was owning him (₦120,000 naira). The lawyer thought I had 120k and that I don't want to give him, he said if he send me to kiri-kiri prison, that my family will rally-round to give him the money. But instead, it was me they (my family) rally-round to release from the prison.

As a former Soldier myself, Nigeria's Military and NPF need a big overhaul and oversight. This situations should've been investigated thoroughly and the truth would have come out but everyone probably kissing Commander's butt to convict this innocent Soldier. So sad.

I have never met an officer that really encouraged me to join the Nigerian Army. All the response I get from Officers and Personnel are negative, "don't join" I feel pity for this country.

How come Arise News never knew about this great injustice? I am really gutted about this happening to this man & his innocent family. This man needs justice & reinstatement into the army. All owed salaries paid upfront too.

@@NoGreigh. But can't you hear from the man that went thru the ordeal? He said he has nothing against the military. And hoping to be reinstated back into the Army. One thing for sure his thinking of is the benefits they get as a solider and when he retires too. They get good benefits as per healthcare for himself and family. The pension is great. To a certain rank you apply for housing and etc. So my brother it's not going to be easy for this guy just to start a fresh from where? In Nigeria of all places. He needs a foundation to propel him to where his aiming at.

Two Words - “Nigerian Hero” , Thank you for your service Soldier! This Man and his colleagues should have their record of prison time expunged and receive compensation for this injustice. I remember this case back then and always wondered what happened afterwards . The Shame is on the Top military and Government officials who embezzled money that should have been used to buy weapons for these Gallant Soldiers. They should be the ones in Prison , not these Soldiers
