    Really nice. I like how you marked the windows and doors. Those would have been so fiddley to cut out.

    Is the second layer along the bottom a piece of tea stained cheesecloth?

      @cookingjennfer  9 месяцев назад +1

      I used coffee 😉 but tea would probably have the same look.

    Adorable… can you tell me what the weight of the Guttermann thread is that you use?

    • @cookingjennfer
      @cookingjennfer  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you. The spook says Gutermann 120. Would 120 be the weight? I know nothing about thread weights.

      @@cookingjennfer thanks for the info. I know nothing about thread either, lol. But separating my 6-ply DMC thread gets old after a while, you know what I mean

      @@meezerfan 😆 I do. Sometimes I reach for sewing thread instead. It comes in so many fun colours. I actually thrift a lot of threads and they don’t come with labels. I just use whatever suits the project.

    Will the ink from the Sharpie stay without any change?

    • @cookingjennfer
      @cookingjennfer  9 месяцев назад +1

      I hope not. I was afraid the felt would melt if I ironed it but ironing should set the colour. I don’t intend to wash this or leave jt in the sun so I think it'll be okay.

      I’m not sure which books would help but I suggest just watch as many videos as you can and maybe slow down the speed so you can try to stitch along. Is there a specific stitch you’re trying to learn?
