Seeing your work has given me an idea on how to modify the Emergency Vehicle HQ, depth wise at least, but I don’t know how to lengthen it so the police car and ambulance aren’t on such a tight parking space.
OOh, that's a good point! I bought that set AGES ago, to modify and I never got round to it. I'll have to get the set out of storage and have a look at it. I hope your MOD goes well. Let me know how you get on! Thanks for commenting.
@@MinifigJez no problem. I’ll have to wait till after new year though cos if I place an order for what I’ll need it will get lost in post Christmas delivery. But hopefully by then you’ll have a video on how to modify it more effectively.
@@mattbartels erm... I'm not sure if I'll get it done before new year, I have a LOT of videos on my "to do" list that I have to make, and I'm not entirely sure where that set is (I have a BIG backlog of sets to build in storage!)
@@MinifigJezfrom the advent calendars you stocked up on for one of those sandwich shops I’m not surprised but like I said I at least I have an idea how to modify the EV HQ depth wise.
That’s a good idea. I do make custom stickers for some of my sets! But it’s not a very big shop, so Mr Produce and the person dressed as a pea, are probably enough staff for one shop !
Отличное заведение для сендвечей! Я даже не знал об этом наборе. Возможно, я бы выдвинул вперёд прилавок, до уровня "тротуара". И добавил бы скосы красного цвета. Оставил бы в этой забегаловке, итальянский след
I'm not sure what you mean by "sidewalk level" do you mean move it one stud forward next to the road? As it's a sandwich shop I think teh green and white is suitable, if it was a PIZZA shop, I would definitely add in red too, for an Italian look!
This time I was trying to see what I could do with two sets and as few other pieces as possible, but modularising it would be a cool thing to do. I have the McDonald’s set (that I mention in the video) ready to build now, so maybe when I do that I’ll have a go at enclosing them both.
@@MinifigJezif you did modularise this sandwich shop you could put in a fridge and oven for the ingredients needed for the sandwiches, perhaps also move the seating area further back from the road and add a few chairs as well.
Thanks Dyoramic. I just thought I'd give it a go and see what I could do. Dark Tan is a rare colour in my spares, otherwise that middle wall could have been better! Hope to see a vid from you sometime soon?
