Black metal and true screamo actually do have a lot in common. Especially suicidal variety of black metal and the more intense Midwest screamo. They both feature plenty of melody, trem picking, and shrieking/crying.
Just liked to turn the tables, yet It doesn't make that much sense to argue, since the lack of knowledge in all of us would just end up in a nonsense argument on both sites.
Perhaps they weren't meant to continue onwards if being alive isn't enough to them. It's human greed, we always seem to need more. This life isn't enough, so we need another one that lasts forever. It never ends. Bigger house, bigger car, bigger TV, bigger bank account to try and fill the void that they are living an empty life.
What? I think you'r missing the point. And it's deffinetly not about greed to have a need to see (/feel) something beyond this world. This materialistic world is not enough real, it's just something we choose to see because we are too materialistic to see or feel something more. The greed, bigger house etc. are things connected to materialistic world, so you can't connect it with your other life or what exactly are you talking about.
@@matejblaha4659 I'm saying that we can never be happy with what we have or what things are. That mentality isn't strictly linked to materialism because again, faith in an afterlife is saying "this can't be it, I/We deserve more". Anticipating something beyond this life, and living in a way in which you are essentially banking on such, is greed. It's stating "this is not good enough, I want a better reality, even if I have to invent one that I cannot possibly prove". There is beauty in accepting the possibility and likelihood that this life is all we are granted, that consciousness is not a meaning but an accident, and we are lucky enough to be conscious organisms capable of thought to experience this before our return to the void. We are given a brief period of light between two eternities of darkness. Maybe we are granted more than this. It would be interesting if we are. If there is something beyond this, I certainly hope it isn't something that feels like some sort of surreal nightmare that can only be understand as a feeling than a visual. Not many talk of that possibility, that the afterlife they so desperately want to believe in may actually be more horrifying than anything we could possibly comprehend (with no consideration placed on if you were "good or bad").
this album is my favorite next to de mysteriis dom sathanas cause Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam is just a dark, cold, and evil as the mayhem record. i cant really say which one i like better cause i listen to them bother everyday
he's saying somthing but the recording is reversed so he's like saying it backwards, that's called backmasking, i listen to a lot of music with backmasking in it, and i'm pretty good at recognizing it
Burzum has some good stuff, and my favorite black metal type song is definitely “I am the black wizards” by emperor. Another sick song is “the waters of ain”
Basically, their stuff have 2 types. The faster one like Carving A Giant, and the slower tempo with atmospherical vibe like this song. try listening to Carving A Giant. Unfotunately, Gorgoroth wrote very few slower tempo song. I cant think of any their other song with slower tempo like this one.
Hi! I could recommend Det Som Engang Var by Burzum. It is the most similar to this style that I can currently think of and extremely atmospheric. Welcome to the world of black metal. It really is an amazing genre :)
Check the songs "Lit" from Godseed, "Temple of Decay", "To Redirect Perdition" and "Funeral Dawn" from Marduk, "Malfeitor" from Watain, and "Sulphur" and "Tzel Maveth" from Mortuus. They create a very similar atmosphere imho.
I've listened to a few of Immortal's songs and there's nothing special about them. Can you suggest some good songs of theirs because I'm thinking I didn't listen to the best ones.
I remember My Sweet Heart said through Chat -Yahoo Messenger & FACE BOOK that His favorite scripture written in the Holy Book is below: Be Ready for the Lord's Coming (1 Thessalonians 5: 2 -3.). (2) For you yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come as a thief comes at night.(3) When people say, "Everything is quiet & safe" then suddenly destruction will hit them! It will come as suddenly as the pains that come upon a woman in labor, and people not escape."
I'm not an expert on ancient myths, nor am I particularly interested in mythology, but I understand most of the basic principles of the myths with which I'm familiar. Why do you ask about that?
"He who sits in the dark." Me sitting in my dark room with the volume up loud and softly nodding my head to this heaviness.
There is a god in man,
and in nature.
He, who sits in the dark,
is the bringer of light.
This beauty,
the sign of an open eye.
Call him, to black flame
Call him, bringer of light
Call him, to black flame
Call him, call him, call him...
Jesus
Its so heavy, slow and powerfull. wish i knew more songs like this one
It reminds me of Bathory's "One Rode To Asa Bay."
inquisition - desolate funeral chant
Burzum-Jesus Tod
If you haven't already go listen to these songs.
Black arts - Beherit
Bereft - Vallenfyre
Acheron - Bornholm
Hordes of Nebula - Darkthrone
Bathory’s “In Nomine Satanas”, which was the first version of “Blood, Fire, Death”.
That droning guitar adds to the atmosphere so much

Damn dont be so cruel 🤣🤣
Satan doesn't exist
Andrew Farnworth nor does god
Andrew Farnworth then why are you hiding?
It Takes me back when played in cassette with a blaster. Quite a good feeling of solitude. 🔥🔥🔥
Screamo is black veil brides territory. If you label black metal as screamo just because of the shrieking vocals, then you are very misinformed.
Very well said my friend.

Seriously, this is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
It's not about the song, but the energy itself, Gaahls isn't just a musician
It's… …so… …heavy.
Black Metal at it's finest! *__*
Why don't they play this in strip clubs?
Reminds me of "Girl - Vue" from the Sopranos now that you mention good music in strippy clubbies.
They played black metal for me when i danced...
