Ajeossi (The Man From Nowhere) has won several Korean film awards including Best Actor (Won-Bin), Best Director, Best Music & Best Technical (for Martial Arts) back in 2010...I also think Hindi filmmakers should stop making watered-down versions of popular Korean movies...Zinda, Ek Villain, Awarapan, Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, Murder 2, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo & many, many more...

I know it is a way late to put a comment on the reaction. But, some points that might confuse the viewers should be addressed: 1. The main character, Won Bin, in the film was a special agent who lost his pregnant wife during the work. He secluded himself, after retiring, into a small pawn shop. There, he acquainted a little girl whose mother was some sort of prostitute. She painted his finger nail (Won Bin's finger is a bit strange, uh?). He got emotionally attached to this little girl and found out that she was kidnapped by a gangsters for organs removal (for selling). The eyeball was a statement that the little girl was already dis-bodied. 2. The guy at the last fight scene is a highly skilled martial art man. And he is a Philipino not a Korean. That's why he never speaks in the movie. The only reason he is against Won Bin is money and doesn't like what he is doing, and doesn't like his boss (the villain). He emotionally grows his respect to Won Bin. That's why he did shoot the eyeball tube instead of shooting Won Bin. He tries to fight one on one out of the respect.
Spoiler alert. Those eye balls aren't that of the little girl. She will be safe. Its just to piss the lead actor off. Watch it Jaby!! Brilliant movie and please watch "Old boy" and react to "I see the devil". Korean movies are amazing ! And also not so very famous movie called "bedevilled". These are all master pieces. Watch them all Jaby ! And make a review :) cheers !
I was going to spoil. But you beat me to it. BTW I also like Korean movies and dramas and I believe The Man from Nowhere is better than Rocky Handsome.
You are a little mistaken on the reason. The mob leader himself thought they were the girl's eyes. Watch it again and one of the henchmen who plays a major roles saves her in the end. It's sad he died instead of just letting Tae know that it wasn't her eyes. Only he knew the truth till the end. Watch the scene with her the doctor and this specific henchman and you will see his look before it fades to the next scene. Never 100% shown but hinted to very well.

what is interesting -- the main guy basically retired afterward, but he did all that running around, jumping out of windows off buildings into a catch net himself. There is a great shot of the camera following him out of the window until he hits the ground (they had the camera man basically in straps run out behind him). Men in S. Korea have to go into the military, so he was a recent person out of that.

Even though I am an indian I would have liked to hear the exact opposite from you Jaby. The Man From Nowhere is a masterpiece and Rocky handsome is a poorly made remake I don't even like the name rocky handsome but the action scenes were done well though considering it is an Indian movie but it was unrealistic whereas the realistic fight scenes in this movie made it more believable and painful. Not only the fight scenes the acting performance was also leaps ahead in Man From Nowhere and thus Rocky Handsome lacked the soul of the original. It was totally a missed opportunity according to me.
The context creates the fight scene from MFN ..you can't appreciate it with out the context of the relationship of the character who the eyes were(won't give you a spoiler).....after having the character development hands down best energy in a fight scene
Korean version is much better than Indian. It's far more realistic. Indian one things like where he shoots behind without looking actually died in old Billy the Kid Western era. And most of the moves were not what you'd do in real fights. Whereas Korean version was choreographed by ex special force. Some say Indian one is more brutal but actually not because it seems too fictional. It feels much more brutal when it's more realistic.
First, you gotta watch the whole movie to get the context. Tae-sik just lost his one connection to his humanity. With that gone, he simply acts with precision and efficiency because he is literally now just a killing machine. He doesn't stop to flex his muscles or try to look cool. He simply kills. Rocky Handsome may look snazzier, but its like comparing Fast and Furious to Drive.
Hey Im an Indian, South Koreans are realistic in their movies... I really like their movies and series... Oh the knife called "Karambit" the one villain holding

Original is original and remake is remake period... Remake becomes something else in the transition..... It's the fact... The finesse acting of the main actor of this movie can never be copied no matter what... The same goes for the original Korean movie - Old boy... Hollywood messed that up big time.
Complaining complaining , the move is from 2010 from South Korea. And its biggest hit in box office, I love Bollywood but Rocky handsome is remake . Nothing to say but look on your self then complain .
This video is so lateeee.. but you're forgiven. I like how Megan Le was able to grasp the important things in this. I have seen this movie and I loved it. I still gotta see the Indian version yet.
The Rocky Handsome version was horrible in my opinion. The guy was indestructible. He got shot in the arm, and hardly reacted to it and had full function of the same arm. His enemies would attack one by one, throw a punch and leave their arm up there for him to do whatever with no resistance whatsoever. It felt like they were trying too hard to 1up the Korean version. As for Man From Nowhere, I liked camera work. It gave the feeling of chaos. The fight scene gave a feeling of concern over the well being of the main character. Unlike Rocky Handsome, he might as well have been a Mary Sue because he didn't seem to have a struggle in that fight scene.
I felt the editing and camera work were really good. Now I think the original movie is better. That is this one. Yes the rocky handsome fight scene was well done too but the movie man this is better.
The man from Nowhere is a much better film- the film makes you have empathy for the relation which is building up between the kid and the "hero", the acting of all the cast members is better and the pacing of the film is much better, but Rocky Handsome does not manage to do so.Yet for the last fight scene it will get some pros from me cause I think it is the first Indian action scenes without slowmo and good speed -well choreographed and well performed. Another remake of a korean film, namely "Awarapan" (remake of "A bittersweet life) performs not only in the action department but does manage to create a solid story with very good cast performances.
Awesome movie and even Rocky handsome is the coolest adaptation... Now the director of indian version has passed away... R. I. P Nishikant Kamat.... It was a treat for Indian action lovers n good movie watchers! Who rarely get it due to nepotism & crap like farah khan, kjo, Rohit shetty etc 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 jai hind

It feels much more brutal when it's more realistic.
won bin that korean movie acter is my favorites one. love won bin.
I'll watch this movie over Taken ANY DAY.
It's so good. 100% recommend The Man From Nowhere.
더기다리면 방탄유리 장면이 명장면인데
First, you gotta watch the whole movie to get the context. Tae-sik just lost his one connection to his humanity. With that gone, he simply acts with precision and efficiency because he is literally now just a killing machine. He doesn't stop to flex his muscles or try to look cool. He simply kills.
Rocky Handsome may look snazzier, but its like comparing Fast and Furious to Drive.
It's a classic, my favorite.
This is the original version. Indian is the adaptation version.
Hey Im an Indian, South Koreans are realistic in their movies... I really like their movies and series... Oh the knife called "Karambit" the one villain holding
At 1.45 I totally lost it 😂 cause when that guy screamed out a commonly used curse word in Korean , and you guys were looking at the video so seriously not knowing what that was.
Any way enjoyed this.
Charitha Senadeera ... It's gae sik e ya

Tells something...I guess !! Internationally acclaimed film n many more.....
Rocky handsome is more like a kungfu pander or same version of hollywood action compare to the man from nowhere.
Rocky Handsome was some cartoony bs. This was more gritty and emotional. I don't see how anyone would prefer that to this
Spoiler Alert: that’s not So-Mi’s eyeballs it’s the guy who was trying to cut out her eyeballs
If you don’t know So-Mi is the little girls name
koreAN MOVIE IS THE MASTERPIECE
The curved knife is called Kerambit originates from Indonesia, also know as Karambit in Philippines , and that guy looks nothing like Linus from Linus Techtips! :)
This is what I've been waiting for. Thanks a lot Jaby Koay.
lol.. how you gonna say rocky handsome is better..? clown
Because he's stupid
@@nehashetty9855 Watching the fight scene in Rocky Handsome Movie looks like a circus clown is dancing and all the fight scenes in that movie are only for children, who like watching cartoons, only those idiot people like Rocky Handsome will see . 😂
Original is original and remake is remake period... Remake becomes something else in the transition..... It's the fact... The finesse acting of the main actor of this movie can never be copied no matter what... The same goes for the original Korean movie - Old boy... Hollywood messed that up big time.
Great movie korean
@2:00 is she serious 😂😂😂... Great logic
한국영화가 오리지널이에요. 당연 한국영화가 짱이지. 원빈 최고!! 아저씨 최고!!!
Jaby instead of these react to Dabang 1 and Dabang 2 Fight scenes like other Channels it's really fun to watch. with Salman's attitude😘
The main villain here is the actual Hero. He saved the Girl
Realistic fight scene. Original is genuine.may South Indian remake will be the best for those who think John version is better.
Complaining complaining , the move is from 2010 from South Korea. And its biggest hit in box office, I love Bollywood but Rocky handsome is remake .
Nothing to say but look on your self then complain .
I may be late but chill, it's the little girl's eyes. She's completely safe till the end
This video is so lateeee.. but you're forgiven. I like how Megan Le was able to grasp the important things in this. I have seen this movie and I loved it. I still gotta see the Indian version yet.
Why this movie isn't available in 1080p ? Anyone knows where can I watch this movie for free ?
Everyone watching Rocky Handsome and reacting.
Man from nowhere- time to quit job
Seriously Jaby u like Rocky Handsome more!!! . Man from nowhere fight scene was more creative and realistic
Right on
The Rocky Handsome version was horrible in my opinion.
Man from Nowhere is far far better than Hindi version.
Megan is adorable
indian one seems choreographed...korean one seemed more gory and real!!
Indian adaptation was after a while the korean one released.
So as the original one, korean movie was way better.
It’s on Amazon prime. Watch it and it will all make sense.
The curved knife the main bad guy uses is a Karambit.
you need to see this movie n other korean masterpieces!!!
Linus from Tech Tips rarely ever kills with a knife, he kills with his bare hands.
Rock handsome is a joke bro...man from nowhere is one the best action drama movie ever!!!!!!!!!
All the actors are incredible....................
I felt the editing and camera work were really good. Now I think the original movie is better. That is this one. Yes the rocky handsome fight scene was well done too but the movie man this is better.
Awesome movie! I highly recommend it.
The Man from Nowhere - box office 42 mln $
Rocky Handsome - box office 3,9 mln$
I'm a simple man, when someone mentions Hunter X Hunter . I hit like.
Another remake of a korean film, namely "Awarapan" (remake of "A bittersweet life) performs not only in the action department but does manage to create a solid story with very good cast performances.
i'm korean
(항상)always waching ~ ^^♥
Awesome movie and even Rocky handsome is the coolest adaptation... Now the director of indian version has passed away... R. I. P Nishikant Kamat.... It was a treat for Indian action lovers n good movie watchers! Who rarely get it due to nepotism & crap like farah khan, kjo, Rohit shetty etc 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 jai hind
Lol watching the fight scene in Rocky Handsome Movie looks like a circus clown is dancing and all the fight scenes in that movie are only for children, who like watching cartoons, only those idiot people like Rocky Handsome will see . 😂
It is way better The original korean movie... Better performances, more realistic action, in Rocky hamdsome The fights looks like a dance
Felipe Reyes it's a bad knock off. Sorry.
Felipe Reyes i don’t think so, original stay original but this time John make good job. And the fight scene r legendary and maybe not better but cooler and powerfully
Lol rocky handsome body is like a rock fighting like robot.
Man from nowhere it was a beautiful movie and the Korean version is better in my opinion, the Indian version I thought it was gonna break out into dance at any moment. And what they were doing was Kali, Philippine knife fighting taught in most military trianing. Watch the Korean version.
this is a great movie its in my top ten .
원빈 아저씨에서 완전 간지였지ㅋㅋㅋ
