I'm with you on the blooming supermarket, Mike. The hours we spend on food - buying it, cooking it, cleaning up after it - could be better spent making art, could they they not? So glad you're able to do it all and share witty videos that brighten our days..
Enjoyed all the outdoor scenery: trees, flowers, mowed lawns, road trips and Mr. Bentley. I regret that I was never able to visit the UK so I love it when I can see pieces and parts like this. Looking forward to the steampunk "head" when you work on it. TFS
Nice to see Mr Benjamin again. It's been great having some spring weather - and getting the washing out on the line is one of life's simple little pleasures - unlike grocery shopping! Great video. Thanks for sharing :)

I really do love watching your vlogs and be able to follow the 'everyday life' of a working artist. Lately I have been more inspired by vlogs like this than actual art videos. Maybe because I have problem with organising my time and get more work done in my studio. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us!

You don't sound any more enthused about grocery shopping than I do. I prefer go to my grocery late in the evening when there are fewer people. Only, then it seems like that's when they stock the shelves, so I am constantly steering the cart around this or that in the aisles. Oh well, I also like to eat! Enjoyed your weekly vlog. :)
It's not one of my favourite pass times I must admit, but it's a necessary evil.
I love these little snippets of your life. I do hope Ian's knee can be helped.It's not fun having a gammy knee especially on long walks. So looking forward to seeing the cyberman head being steampunked. Keep up thegood work.

oh Mike i understand the money thing completely. And the not as young and tiring out.. i am a 59 yr old fur mommy of a 168lb rescue Great Dane, one of her strides is 6 of mine. Never let yourself get so tired that you cant post your videos they make my day! xoxo

Aww so nice to see Mr. Benjamin today. I also love the smell of fresh cut grass! That kit site sounds like a great tool for you to streamline your work a bit. And OH MY GOODNESS Mike, I didn't think I would ever find anyone else who doesn't like going to Ikea as much as I do! We just got an Ikea in town last year and I went several months after opening - I hated it! I don't ever want to go back. Can't wait to see that steampunk mask!! Awwww Ian kissing Mr. Bentley was so sweet! So was Mr. Bentley getting his treat! I hope Ian's knee is okay. Thank you as always for sharing. I just love your videos.

LOL aww what a great couple you are! ;-) Although I can relate - my husband has arthritis in one of his shoulders, and I have it in my lower spine. It's terrible getting old isn't it?? LOL
ooh, Mike, I'm actually jealous of you being able to go to Ikea lol. I wanted a couple of their drawer units for craft room storage and was happy to see them at a good price...however...the shipping price down to Cornwall was just disgustingly high so I refused to buy them online and ended up getting something from Hobbycraft instead. why do these big companies decide to charge so much I wonder. what glorious sunshine you had on a couple of days. it's been one day hot and one day cold down here. I'm meant to be dismantling the greenhouse, mostly to stop my kitten getting up on the bungalow roof, but it's been too cold, now at just gone 7pm, the sun is shining so much I had to shut the curtains...the joys of UK weather lol. still, it means some time in my craft room so not a complete waste of the day.

Great vlog again Mike. Hope Ian's knee is ok. Arthritis pain hurts, I know, I have it in every joint! I wear a Barlow knee support that works exceptionally well. You can get them on line. Lovely to see Misters Bentley and Benjamin getting out and about. And the weather picking up but it doesn't know what it wants to do. Very warm last weekend but cold again now 😟. I bought a Raskog for my craft items from Ikea on line not long ago so I didn't have to do the roundabout of the actual store. I have been twice in the distant past and I felt I would never see daylight again on both occasions 😂. Thanks for sharing your week. xx

For me that was a week I do not ever want to repeat. The worst week of my life. Great to see Mr Benjamin again. Does he ever go outside. I enjoy watching these blogs, long may they continue.

Lovely vlog again Mike...hope the pain is bearable for Ian...i know the feeling...on both knees...."They"want to do surgery on one of them...but i am scrared and wait a bit longer and hope for a miracle recovery......duh....and i should show my Majesty how Mr Bentley is carrying his own ring....i trow it and then she looks at me like she is saying "why did you do that??..you have to get that back!!"...and Benjamin...oooohhh...he is lovely too..and that mask....you must have tried it on.....dont scare the neighbours..xo 🌷🇳🇱
He's very good with the frisbee ring, he loves to carry it! and I have tried the mask on, a couple of times..lol XO

Please let us know about Ian's knee when you find out. I have severe arthritis in both knees and both hips, and it's not fun. You have to do your exercises diligently, and pool therapy helps a lot when it gets really bad. There are also injections that can help.
He's been warned against steroid injections apparently they're not good in the long term, but I'll keep you informed. XO
There are lots of non-steroid injectables for the knees now. A rheumatologist would know about them. Good luck!
I love your vlog Mike. Hopefully Ian's knee is not as bad as you fear. I have to confess: I love, love, love IKEA ;) I just do. I also love your Cyberman. I can't wait to see how you steampunk it. I'm getting married on June 2nd and we are going to have a steampunk wedding, we are huge steampunk fans. ;)
LOL on Ikea. My daughter flies in from Alaska tomorrow morning and our first stop before heading to the house is Ikea. She always brings an empty suitcase for her purchases. Ikea will ship to her, but they charge way more than the price of merchandise to ship. We love Ikea, but I've heard people in the UK and Europe often say they hate it. I wonder why tthat is?
I think it's because you're herded one way through the store and can't ramble back and forth. It's a one way system so really frustrating you have to walk through the whole store just to get to the one place you need which is right at the end! It's even harder when the place is packed with people to double back!
I never going on the weekends, that's for sure. There are long lines of people outside the store waiting to get in! And I don't like not being able to go back, either, but I'm sure they do that so that when you see something, you grab it, because you know it's almost impossible to go back!
Ooo, you confused me! The title says March. Not a month I want to repeat!! Love the Cyberman! We have a friend who does a full cosplay as one. No voice though. Everything is so much greener there than Connecticut.

LOL is procrastination in your volcabulary too? i have been trying for 2 years to declutter and rrorganize my craftroom, i did manage to find the floor but thats about it! I see you had Ian and Mr. Bentley out for a wonderful day in the park...which one tired first? hehe
Yes Brenda, I am, it's not a procrastination thing, but a money thing, we need to replace the flooring in the room that I'm moving into but it's gonna cost, so need to save up a bit first and I tired before Bentley in the park...it's always the case...not as young as I once was.. XO
What kind of dog is Bentley he looks like the rescued greyhounds my friend owns, but smaller.
He's a whippet Laura, we've had him since birth. XO

I still can't believe that you hate Ikea, a part of me almost feel insulted in my proud swedish heart. I'm surprised you didn't by a Råskog (that cart that almost every crafter use) while you were there :P

It's the one way through the store that I hate...not the products XO I did want one but they've stopped making the blue! Boooo!
Oh I see, well I'm lousy at the one way through, I keep rebelling :P I tend to figure out all the shortcuts so if I need to go back, I can figure out which way to take, because I always forget something or come up with an idea that requires me to go back.
You can always paint one blue. Or cyberpunky or anyway you like ^^ I got the black one and then I have white accessories. Sounds boring, but my stuff is so colourful so it looks nice.
