I basically bum up my box cake mix quite similar to yours, however thank you for your tip on sifting the cake mix and using a pastry brush to evenly prepare the cake pan. I think this will be dessert for Sunday.

My son couldn't believe I'd finally done it. He would always have my mom (RIP) make them. When she passed (2006) he tried turning to me - NOT!🤣 The first set of instructions that I followed to a T and nailed it. You truly are my QUEEN! My son thanks you too!!
