you can digitize and locate bolt holes and coolant passage wall thickness and the machine will then know where these features are located, then its up to the programmer to design a port that fits within.

no you only digitize the ported port. the cad cam system in combination with the probe picking up known features of the head allows you to place the cnc port right where you want it. easy!

man i want one of those machines i tried do it myslif i just ending messing up my heads myself then had to buy another pair later how much do those machines go for. if i ever won the lottery the first thing i'll buy are one of those

for gears you will need a gear hobbing machine. there are both manual and cnc gear hobbing machines. try a google search on gear hobbing for lots of good info. and be sure to check out our NEW videos on our RUclips channel. Several in HD now available. thanks for watching.
