Williams has been around in the biz since the 70’s really. Much of her clientele pay a lot of money and much of her portfolio is word of mouth. There have been books but no real Tv /homeward line at Walmart kind of thing. She is more of the real deal and therefore less known. You either know her work or you don’t. A bit exclusive.
Bunny Williams is a brilliant designer who is able to articulate her ideas so well that we can learn tons from her. I appreciate her simple, direct, thoughtful responses to your questions. She is a breath of fresh air.
Bunny mentions that she may have gotten her start because she was a girl who had good manners. Good manners will indeed take you places, along with hard work. I really enjoyed this interview.
Bunny Williams is so delightful, truly a classic interview. Love antiques and it’s my desire for the younger generation to embrace and rescue one statement or elegant piece and incorporate it in their space . Love from sunny Florida ☀️
I grew up in Northern Virginia, and Bunny Williams was the first interior designer I was ever aware of. And I love her name, Bunny, which kept me paying attention.
Love this interview, found a beautiful book of garden and home by Bunny and was completely won over. Lover of interiors, fine art , antiques , all things modern and eclectic. Thank you so much for both of your Womens input,
Such a fascinating and insightful conversation. I recently purchased Bunny’s book “Point of View”. Excellent observations about the world of collecting and eclectic design. Excellent questions as well at the end.
I love Bunny’s Decorating styles. Bunny can you show us some countryside styles in cottages. This has been such a treat. I would love to see more of Bunny Williams decorating.
This is just great. Ms. Williams’s background in Charlottesville is an asset that cannot be underestimated. “I want people to be comfortable” is exactly right. That “if you changed out a chair the design won’t fall apart” again, is exactly right.
Ms Williams have been watching lots of your work on RUclips and being from Richmond VA could not understand why you and the New York designers who celebrate your work Pronounce room as rum. So glad that you shared your southern background being from Charlottesville VA now I understand the pronunciation.
Thank you, both! This was comprehensive and entertaining and I kept running to research new (to me) names and places. I appreciate your generosity, you both took your time, and covered some ground. I started watching last night, with a cocktail....resumed this morning with coffee...riveted and nodding!
Bunny ! I love you house is beautiful , and you antique furniture . I love you interior designers style , the beautiful fabric and sofa and lamp shad is sou unique , and you style is gorgeous .
Watching this for the third time. Bunny you are just so amazing, I adore how put things together. I love antiques but need some modern mixed in looking a bit like a museum in my house. My kids think Ikea is the only place to buy "furniture" hoping as they get older and develop a sense of style they will see that real wood is not to be feared. Dara I ordered your book S is for Style, arrived today, a little disappointed that I didn't get one with a jazzy cover but I guess you can't have everything.

Love antiques and my children are loving them too! Feels good on traditional vibes!I’ve been watching you for decades watching your design and I love the design I’ve loved the garden books. Amazing heartwarming background! Love that you’re parents we’re conservatives and cared where you went to school and that you had manners! 🤗🌳🏡🖼💫🦚🌟
Bunny, will you please please tell me the name and brand of that gorgeous shade of blueipaint in the first photos? I have a new home and I cannot decorate the drawing room until I have the perfect shade of blue paint, and that blue is it! Thank you so much in advance. Emma.x
I thought the Greenbrier Resort had opened in the 1700’s. It’s been a very long time since I’ve been there, so I could remember incorrectly, or perhaps it’s a different Greenbrier. But what a wonderful interview anyway. I am enjoying all your interviews here.
Well, you have the contacts, but if you don’t have good taste, the business won’t go anywhere. Imagine the Kardashians going into decorating, their houses would be bland, unimaginative white….☹️
In love with herself. She’s not a talented deco-icon . She is a rich housewife who has worked quite a lot and had NO problem in stepping over others head. Her EGO trip is boring and there’s nothing special or original in her “old lady’s impassable houses” full of objects, little tables, little chairs, books nobody reads, etc. Next
I am shocked so few people have watched this video. What a treasure for those of us learning. Thank you, Dara and BUNNY WILLIAMS!

Bunny is what the universe gives us when it is showing off...
What a great interview with practical advice. I was beyond impressed by the yin-yang mixtures Bunny Williams creates in these rooms.
Fascinating! Very enjoyable interview. I could listen to Bunny Williams all day! Thank you very much!

Bunny is the best! All new designers would benefit from "Bunny 101" in their design careers. Great interview.

Great tips from such talent! ✨💯👍🏼

I have been scouring for this subject. I love antiques and eclectic designs. Heading Bunny's insight is lovely.
Bunny inspirational to all interested in grandmillennial design and decor!

Loved this interview. Love Bunny's work.💖
Love all the advice from Bunny Williams. A favourite of mine, hope to one day have a homw designed by her.

Thank you. Greatly enjoyed this insightful interview.
Truly fabulous interview. Bunny is the kind of designer I would love to work with.
Wonderful interview, TY!

The paint color was custom mixed to achieve one that matched the drawing room in Pride & Prejudice
Such Great insight! Thank you Bunny!
Hello Sylvia
Love Bunny. Lovely American lady of great taste.
Thank you! We do, too!
I have some of her books. I love how she explains what she does in her home tours. Others simply give you the provenance of their inventory. Sigh.
I thought the Greenbrier Resort had opened in the 1700’s. It’s been a very long time since I’ve been there, so I could remember incorrectly, or perhaps it’s a different Greenbrier.
But what a wonderful interview anyway. I am enjoying all your interviews here.
The abstract expressionist she kept referring to as Joni Mitchell is in fact Joan Mitchell.
Thank you so much for clarifying that.
Very very nice interview. I appreciated your questions.
Just beautiful.
People from rich families have the advantage in the interior design business! They already have a following from their rich friends.
Mainly we’ve been exposed to beautiful things and know how they are supposed to be used!!
Well, you have the contacts, but if you don’t have good taste, the business won’t go anywhere. Imagine the Kardashians going into decorating, their houses would be bland, unimaginative white….☹️
Thank you ,what color is that blue on wall
Legendary
How can we reach her, she has an amazing style of work?
Adorei conhecer mais sobre esta maravilhosa senhora. Brasil
Can anyone help me with the name of the designer mentioned @45:29 ? Thank you in advance
Wow., thank you…
❤️🙌🏻⭐️
i love her
💘
Breaking up a lot. what a shame. I would have loved to watch more.
Bunny... Bunny... The abstract artist's name is Joan Mitchell not Joni Mitchell.
Yeah, I picked up on that. Isn't Joni Mitchell a singer?
@@rmonson5002 Yes, Joni Mitchell is a singer.
Don't most of us mix out of necessity? Plus it's so boring to have just one style happening.
In love with herself.
She’s not a talented deco-icon .
