I remember watching this with mum before school, and she was so delighted to see Frieza suffer after everything he’d done on Namek. I loved that she got so invested in the show
Its been mentioned years ago that the reason Goku was able to acheieve Super Sayin is because he's of a pure heart and since his anger was triggered by the loss of his friend (Krillin), his motives were in the right place thus becoming what he became to achieve this form.

Goku talks about what it takes to become a supersaiyan later on with gohan in the next saga. I don't want to spoil anything but they talk about pure emotion, not pure hearted. That's been a misconception for ever.
Super Saiyan Form in the Beginning gives a 50x multiplier from Base Form, Goku Power Level in his Base was 3 million, so when he went Super Saiyan, his Power level shot up to 150 million, while Frieza Power level at 50 percent of his Maximum Power is 60 million. Goku was Struggling to contain his Extreme Rage at Frieza in his Super Saiyan Form, so that it won't Overtake him.
goku was at like 20 percent power in hes new form,also that form drains alot of stamina untill he masters it, and he makes frieza attacks look like flyes hitting him.
Watching it now, I see how the Brazilian dubbing made the anime much more exciting. When the volcano explodes in the Brazilian version, he says: I am the Super Saiyan Goku! Then the narrator says: The Super Saiyan, who possesses maximum power, Goku, it is now that you must avenge everyone's death! But USA still is very good.
I think the multiple small ki blasts never works partly because it is a bunch of small blasts, but mostly because it is often done against a stronger opponent as an act of frustration and desperation. When you are stronger than your opponent, you never need to resort to such displays.

He gravitated to his Sayain arges to kill which goku doesn't believe in but Frieza crossed a line. Killing Krillin caused goku to lose it when he shouted NOW YOU Will KNOW THE HORROR FRIEZAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! Straight Rage!🔥🔥🔥

I wish we could watch it in japanese, the problem is we started off with so many episodes in the English version, many people on this channel wouldn't like us to change the dub unfortunately. I will show her the Japanese version in her free time though, I also love that version 😄

I still think that Dragon Ball is generally better than DBZ, but in terms of fighting, animation, heart, almost everything, Super Saiyan in Namek moment is the peak of entire Dragon Ball series.

And the final words of Goku's speech : Supaa Saiyajin Son Goku da ! 2 of the best lines of the proud Saiyan. Sean Schemmel made a very good job for this adaptation. But Masako Nozawa is still the best. All can trash talk about her like she's an old granny making Goku speak and shout like a girl, but remember one thing American friends : without Toriyama sensei and her there's no Schemmel 👍🏾 Anyway, it's time to kick some aliens a*s💪🏾
You are very right man! The OG dub was just made for this. I grew up with the dub version, that is 100% my preferred version, but I have a lot of respect for the original Japanese dub. Without it, there wouldn't be any English version indeed!!

Finally Frieza gets punished for all his crime, SSJ Goku was amazing, Frieza saga was the best one and Cell saga was a great way to pass the torch to Gohan, sadly stupid kiddie Buu saga ruined DBZ, Akrra wanted to end at Cell saga but fans kept wanting more so he made the childish pink blob villain to make ppl lose interest. Either ways imo this episode is peak DBZ, Frieza finally starts getting punishment for his crime. And long after The show ended Ressauraction F 2015 was the last "DBZ movie" and as it happens after Buu saga it was a fitting end to have Frieza the final villain again, then ofc 2016 childish DBS started, so DBZ's true end was Ressauraction F (and the sole reason Akira did it was a debacle called DB Evolution in 2009, so in 2015 he did his last DBZ work Ressauraction F) anyway take care guys, thanks for doing my all time favorite episode this one, bye and best wishes!

Technically Z isn't over, DBS takes place during the 10 year time skip. Uub was shown in super as a toddler, plus Goten and Trunks are just now hitting their growth spurt as shown in DBS Super Hero. Plus Goku still hasn't put on the Blue Gi yet, and Pan still has to fight in the World Martial Arts Tournament

We did a survey on this channel and more than 80% liked the Bruce Faulconer version, but I hear you man. I like both dubs a lot, but I grew up with the English version so that's what I also prefer. The Japanese version will always be special too!

The screams, the voices, the emotion they transmit, and above all the fidelity of the original Japanese dialogues, That's really epic. It's a shame that they can't see it in Latin because they don't understand the language... They would realize how epic it really is. I listen to it in English and it's boring, plus the dialogues are very bad, very changed from the original, Goku never said something like "I am the truth"... at that moment he says.
