It says FARM solo…. Not get the exotic SOLO. How can you farm without getting the item dummy
The title is a bit misleading. All i do is go to the landing do the first 4-5 chests. Respawn into the landing rinse, repeat. You will learn where the chests are, no need to waste time looking through a sniper

This is all I do too. Waste time looking through sniper. One circle around between the first two zones and spawn into the next zone. Don’t kill any yellow bars or active next level of that public event because it seems like it resets the timer
This is what I do, there are 5 chests in the Landing, it seems to drop 1 in every 50 chests. When you load in wait for the screen to flash white (~30 seconds) and the chests spawn.
Rick glitched for a second at the end there, it’s funny how you can randomly get stuck on something you’ve said a thousand times

I'm not sure if I have enough alcohol for that, I'd take blinkers to make up for it but I don't handle being cross faded well unless I'm taking bong rips cause for some reason those don't make me feel sick
to farm them solo you need to open 20 to 50 chests for it to drop. Really recommend doing it in the Landing. I've gotten 5 already and did Dual Destiny 2 days ago.
What about lost sectors? The landing has the fasted clear out of the 3. So that could also be a good option.
*every* pale heart chest, still a good question worthy of testing but i got some from story mission chests so like i have said before i wouldn’t be surprised if people got some from the raid
All chests within Pale Heart have a 2% drop chance. Don't matter the activity, the power level, or location. Overthrows might be worth it since you're getting more chests over an extended period of time, but doing the Landing strat is faster since it's just a 30-40 second reload timer. Whenever the screen flashes, that means chests are respawned so you can go do a circuit, then reload.
I got a second titan mark from replaying the Dissent mission from Microchosm, so it does seem to be ANY chest in the Pale Heart.
Will you only be able to get the class items from pale heart chest on your character that completed the mission? Or can your other characters who haven’t completed it yet also get class items from chest?
You have to complete it on all characters to get the class item for that character.
Actually, you can forgo the sniper if you wait for the flash. Much easier, and no need to zoom watch. If you know the locations, it's way faster to wait after doing the fast travel. Just figured i would post this here.
I'm not sure why some ppl are upset. This mission is not hard and I completed it with a rando that helped me. I am also a solo player, so I understand the idea of playing with randoms. I have met some cool ppl though. Socializing should be a basic skill and ppl need to stop being so weird about it. Lol.
The Wombo detector is supposed to be more of an indicator of when the chests spawn when you first load into an area. Not exactly where they spawn because that's not necessary. If you load into The Landing area the chests spawn in a way that you can just do a circuit around the map and find everything without scoping in. But you don't want to do the circuit until you scope in and make sure they all spawned first.
Not sure if this a message worthy to pin but: Here is another BONUS while you're farming the Class Exotics! Most of the chests will give you Gunsmith Engrams almost all the time (Common Drop), alongside with the Pale Heart Engrams as a rare drop.
Getting numerous Gunsmith Engrams I imagine will help you farm for the ideal Crux Termination Rockets or the Nox Perennial Fusion god rolls... That is if Banshee has the "Cassoid/ New Foundry Weapon Set" rolled in at his shop currently...

I've gotten some from world chests and overthrow chests
It also dropped from the pale hart master lost sector today. Donno if is has same drop rate as patrol chests tho.

Farming the overthrow events themselves over chest farming seems to have better odds than just zooming chest to chest. Plus the added bonus of pale heart XP and engrams.
Can confirm, got Relativism solo from level 4 completion, after doing the mission with 2 of course

No it doesn’t, you need to acquire it on all 3 classes
If Ive unlocked the class item on my hunter will I also be able to farm on my warlock or do i have to do a separate run?
No, you need to get each character's individual class item through the mission first before they can get it through pale heart chests
I got one two days ago from the final chest that also gave me an Ergo. So there's that :)

Yes you need to do on all characters unless you just want to farm for hunter class item
Do u need to have the exotic class item and/or prismatic subclass equipped to be able to farm this way? Bcs I never got any exotic class drop without both equipped
No it’s just a low drop rate. Well as long as you unlocked the class item for that class by completing Duel Destiny at least once.

Even the glowing chest that has a mini game drop em like in the landing the one where u throw grenades at the exploding balls or the one you follow the light. They only take 15 to 20 seconds. Even the wondering yellow bars. Chest will respawn as u do those. So in one run you can get 7-8 chest.

Been farming pale heart, probably get 2 an hour , I just use the match made overthrow and hit all the chests and activity’s with teammates

Farm the looming and have items u want on class item in invetory. I had calibans liars coyotes and i got cali/liar and cali/syntho in maybe 200 chests open
I've been farming the same zone over and over again. You just load back the same starting area and wait for the screen to flash and you should have a new set of chests.
Wombo Detector basically is 50m from FOV that's why the sniper rifle with wombo works the way it does.

So this video actually helped me! I knew about this sniper scope thing, as I've been doing it since I did Dual Destiny with a rando. (shoutout to my boi whonwas also learning with me ❤) What I didn't know is the zoom factors into the reagent detector boost. Thank you for enlightening me! I'll still be grinding for two a day and three if I feel like I have extra time.

My trouble is ive opened 100 chests and not gotten it once. I have done the dual destiny mission 3 times and completed it. Anyone else have this problem
Zooming down sights works with any weapon :) I was using the call and it works fine :)
The issue for me isn’t playing with others it’s that you have to have a mic nobody is doing dual destiny without a mic 🤷
DOES IT HAVE TO BE ON THAT CHARACTER??
We need the ability to focus rolls so people aren’t spending days or weeks trying to get the rolls they want, like me, it’s way too frustrating and time wasting to farm these when I never get good rolls
i completed it for one character, can another character find them in chest or dose that character have to complete it too

Best way I have found is to farm overthrow and hit the world chests. As soon as the overthrow is over hit the world chests and matchmake back into a new one. I have gotten 2-3 a night doing this but only 1-2 farming nothing but world chests. The first night I could farm world chests for them I got 6 in about an hour but the next day was reset and I guess they nerfed the drops cause it has been less since.
Xur's strange coin boon is not an account wide buff? Bought it on hunter week one, this week I was on warlock when I grabbed it. Hunter expires in 3 days and is only tier 1. Warlock is also tier 1.
Lol same ish happened to me. Titan last week and was on lock today when I bought artifice armor and got it. Weird it's not account based and that I can't get it on the other 2.
So, the 3 Co-op missions you do have a chance at getting one from those chests.

Just do the overthrow till the final boss spawns collect the 5 chests then port back to same location wait 30-45 seconds go collect rinse repeat no mobs are spawned because everything is plat boss location

Since i did the warlock already dose that mean i have to do it again for my hunter and titan if so I'll have to find somebody to help again i be way to high for all this i found a guy who was also a stoner we was high as fuck the first time it took a long while but we got it done we had alot of fun but since we was so damn high we forgot to friend each other it was even better cause well no toxic energy
In order for a character to get the drops from chest that one character must have the exotic discovered, not account wide

Yes you have to do the mission once on each character then you can start farming. Also if you do the mission with 2 of the same classes you can get double drops of the class item at the end of this mission. So if you do it enough time to be comfortable doing it can be done in like less than 20 minutes with double rewards which is faster than open world farming.
Chest detector and 3 man overthrow and you'll definitely get you fair number of class items.
Can you do this mission with out buy the dlc?

Plus there’s no point because the exotic only works with prismatic ( the dlc subclass )
It’s a good tip . Thanks . Just a word though on the quality and so far to date every one of these I’ve gotten are trash . When you look at the rolls available on them 70% are no good . Regardless I keep farming overthrows and you can get one from any chest in those activities at anytime. It usually takes about 3-4 of them to get 1 item but again they are at least for me pretty bad so far .
The mission is way more fun than pale heart patrol slogs

It's not really clickbait. It says farm them solo, which you can. After you have gotten it from the mission. Just because you read it, clicked the video and didn't hear what you wanted to hear doesn't make it clickbait.
Also, the solo community is not some "oppressed group of people."
This methods way harder than mine. Load landing, run/ride a circle. 25 chests average get the bond 10-12mins, don't waste time on the overthrow unless you care to level up ghost etc
Why not just speed run it with another guardian in less than 25 minutes and get 4 per hour or possibly 6 if you’re really fast?

Great for brand new people, not so much for those of us who have played a bit.
The mission is extremely cool and made 100% better by the fact that it forces two people communicate. Anybody whining about it is just complaining for the sake of it.

Just wanted to let you know the landing so far is what has worked out best for me just walk between a set path and the chests usually( like 90% of the time) reset by the time you do the loop and at the same time you get credit for the overthrow event so you kill 2 birds with one stone. I usually get 1 exotic per every 40 mins it varies every now and then but almost always (98% of the time) get in within the 40 minutes.

opened about 100 chests so far, zero exotic class items...but thats par for the course, my RNG in this game has been horrendous since D1. normal drop rate for everyone is 2.5%, for me seems like its -.0001%

If your chest farming you get 1 an hour roughly ..if you duel destiny you get 2 an hour only because of glitch so it's not to much of a difference after you obtain it

@@cpool735 I did it with a patient friend of mine and we did it first try. I’d recommend watching a video. It takes a bit of communication but its honestly not as bad as a I thought. That said I didn’t enjoy it and glad you only have to do it once (unless you want the exotic for each class then you have to do it one per class which another annoyance.) though I do see how/why some like it.
I still think it was wrong to lock this behind an activity that wasn’t doable solo.
It's so wierd I would kill to have a group to hang with and run content with. I've been in 10 clans since launch. Try to find anyone to socialize with. And I'm sad because it's boring to just farm overthrow. I do not want to be a solo player, but I'm stuck being one.
Eh the easiest farm tbh is getting Impasse to the boss phase and then just running around the impasse and picking up chests, dont do the boss at all just leave him. you do not have to leave the area for new chests to spawn.

Unfortunately it is character based for now with all the complaints if it’s not too buggy they might make it otherwise but for now good luck😊

@@TheKingChaos I ran it on lfg last night found a great partner took us about 3 hours to learn it but Everytime we failed a stage we beat it the second time around, the mission is actually really engaging and fun with a sound partner

you dont need sniper to see chests from far, use servant leader scout from gambit, it has 26 zoom, its good for plants in breach too
Okay people are saying they load into a zone and farm 5 chests or so and then reload the zone. *How in the fuck* is that more enjoyable then actually running activities on site? Just kill enemies and play the damn game.

If that dont work for you then just don't watch this video, you have spent maybe a few minutes of ur time you'll survive I promise. I did it lfg luckily I pair with someone nice and patient we both know the mechanics. This mission is very fun try your best getting out your shy shell saying from experience and still trying to 😊
the drop rate can be uterly trash for the exotic to drop from chests, I was going the urgo sum node I have over 90 swords and only gotten 6 class item drops -.-
running about and farming chests outside the urgo sum node the drop rate is even worse
worst of all is getting spirit of the bear drops as titan it is such a trash perk guess what all 6 of my class items had -.-
the chest farm loop is boring as heck and way way less efficient than just doing the urgo node unlike what is said in this vidio -.-
