@@AH-ph3cb Are you serious right now? Comparing Daenerys to Cersei. Daenerys literally came and fought alongside the Northerners, sacrificed her two armies and dragons for the cause, saved her brother’s lives three times and lost a dragon for that. As she was risking her life fighting for the living on the battlefield Sansa was hiding like a rat underground running her bitch mouth and complaining about her. Daenerys deserved the sworn allegiance Jon gave her. What more do you want her to do?
Cersei was a manipulative arrogant and deceiving person who tricked everyone while Daenerys was ambitious and fought for what was she deserved. She proved herself to be an ally to the North with obvious sacrifices and love for Jon. Sansa was just a rat that betrayed and used both her brother and Daenerys to sneak herself as the queen in the North. Truly hope this bitch does in the books.

    • @janellejulianajoy
      @janellejulianajoy Год назад +5

She didn't have to. How come no one sees this. Sansa got her crown by doing nothing (according to many) and doing everything (according to her OWN people)..
It's easier to see it this way. The North chose who they wanted, right? Jon was chosen in season six but mid season seven she's told, to her face, that she should have been the one they chose. Why is that? She's not a soldier. She didn't unite all of Westeros to fight.
Many conflate being a soldier with being a ruler. Those are two completely different things. Jon did a tuck and run the moment he got a boner (I hate to say it that way, but...). No ruler hands their subjects up without any kind of communication. And speaking of communication...rulers actually COMMUNICATE with their advisors. They don't choose to ignore everything and everyone around them without so much as an acknowledgement. This is what made Ned such a formidable Lord. He, too, was left with his job and he did it well. Ned did his duty to his people without being asked twice. He treated his people like they were his family. Ergo, despite it all he put them first. He never made a move based on his dick.
Sansa's steps towards being Queen started in season seven. Do many forget that she ran Winterfell in Jon's absence and continued to rule it when he came back? Jon sold them and Sansa had to clean up his mess. No one can deny that what Jon did, especially knowing what we know about the North, was wrong as hell. Yet, no one takes into account that this indiscretion is what gave Sansa her title. Through it all, Sansa told her people, THEIR people, they should have faith in Jon and at the same time she advocated for Northern independence. And if Jon didn't understand, you can indeed walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.
So, she's still showing allegiance to her King while fighting for her people. People that are clanish and bleed loyalty. Yet, people ask why she was given the title as Queen.
Lastly, she stated, she didn't ask, that what these people have wanted since Ned's execution they will most certainly have---independence. And, she got it.
Was it because Bran was King? Maybe. Would she have fought against him had he refused? Absolutely.
All I know, is that Sansa's eye remained on Winterfell and Jon's did not. Sansa understood the politics behind ruling, Jon did not...and it showed.

I’d bet everything I own that it was her who told Cersei where Dany was going to be so Euron could ambush her and kill the dragons. The moment she knew who Jon really was she was 100% against Dany and started plotting behind her back. I understand Sansa’s skeptical nature towards her in 8x1 and 8x2 but any doubt or hesitation should’ve been instantly gone when she personally witnessed her dragons fight off the Winter. She must’ve realized that without her everyone would be dead. And she didn’t need to fight for the north she could’ve gone back to Dragonstone or Essos and did nothing but instead she put her life on the line and her ‘children’ for ungrateful strangers. I hate the fact that she didn’t show any gratitude to her in 8x4 during the celebrations, Sansa saw a snowstorm that rose to the sky and beyond. The north was fucked without her, and the only Northerner who showed any gratitude was Tormumd FUCKING Tormund and he was beyond wasted and probably had no idea he even did that the next morning… Sansa just pissed me off every step of the way of S8. How the fuck did she even contribute to anything…

The starks and the North bowed to the Dragons and the Dragons are Back..Sansa is a dumb character to be honest. Daenerys learned from tyrion that jon told the truth to sansa who told tyrion who in turn told varys this already put Sansa and Jon in danger if Daenerys was truly mad she would have killed Jon and Arya and would have Gone after Sansa therefore endangering her family and the North Sansa only got away with is Because of writer's clairvoyance . Not Smart for being a student of littlefinger . Littlefinger Didn't antagonise people more powerful than him.

@@jjh2456 Northern independence is a selfish sham. Sansa only wants it to keep her power to herself like Cersei did with securing the throne through her children.
If they did get Northern independence then that would also mean no more trade agreements. With a new ruler new ones would’ve had to be made because the north doesn’t grow anything. They have no food without the trade agreements and shipments to white harbor port.
Also if Dany failed at conquering the throne then they would’ve had to deal with Cersei themselves eventually. Because even though “the north remembers” by s8 they seem to have forgotten the war of the five kings happened because Cersei wanted them all dead. So even if Northern independence was prioritized they still needed to acknowledge the threat of Cersei as their own problem not just Danys.
The only reason they didn’t is because they knew the dragon queen would take care of it herself for them, just like how she took care of the whites for them with her dragons.
Winterfell had depleted resources and weaponry after getting sacked twice. Ramsay destroyed the glasshouses so they had no food. And none of the small folk grew anything by the time spring came they wouldn’t have any self grown food anywhere else in the north either especially after losing even more housing Danys armies and losing men in the long night.
So considering all of these, northern independence equals thousands of people will suffer for Sansa’s Queen fantasy…seem smart or political to you?

I seriously wished that Daenerys had waited a few more days, three to four at the least, enough for her dragons to heal and recover. Along with all of the men wounded that were about to go fighting again. If she had waited a few days, Rhaegal would probably still be alive, along with Missandei.
Also I despise Sansa with a passion. Sansa has no fu*king right to tell anyone who Jon really was. Ned did not tell another soul from the day Jon was born until Ned’s last day. Ned is probably rolling over in his grave now when Sansa broke her word to Jon and told Tyrion which Tyrion told Varys. And at the end of it, lead to Varys’s death. Daenerys may have ordered her children to burn Varys alive but if Varys had never learned who Jon really was, Varys would be alive. Sansa has 50% of the blame for his death. Sansa is just an ungrateful bit*h in my eyes to the very end.
And Sansa has a part for Daenerys snapping toward the end of it all. All Sansa wanted was to be Queen since day one. Ugh! Part of me wished that Sansa had died in this season or badly wounded and Daenerys saved her life to make Sansa freaking change her view into a good one for Daenerys. Dany made it quite clear that she expected the North to submit to her rule, and the North had just won its independence. However, seeing as how Dany had just helped save the world and the North from the White Walkers, you would think the people of the North would at least consider cooperating better with Dany. How is it screwed up if it has been apart of the narrative since season one?! The only difference is the fact Sansa entered the chat full time in season six.
The North didn't want an outsider's rule. This isn't hidden. Why is that so misunderstood? Did you see how angry these people were in season seven after they blatantly tell both Sansa and Jon why they chose to name the latter King after losing faith when Robb died?
This isn't solely Sansa's doing. She's only doing what these people want her to do. If they didn't care, Jon would not have gotten questioned in episode one about his choice to give up his position. Sansa, though played by Sophie Turner who also played X-Men's Jean Grey, is not a telepath. She didn't make these people behave this way. She didn't make them choose Jon to be King either. The North's choices as a whole are just that, their choices, but it is collective and not singular.
If Sansa never said a word these people would still be combative and like Lord Glover, the Stark's just might lose that support. Sansa stayed on their side after Jon's abandonment of them and that is what held things together.
How on earth is any of this missed?!
And another thing that many of you ignore, there are many established storylines that do not include Dany, yet, you act like that their own journey should be rerouted to pacify one character. I don't think you even understand how wrong and problematic that is.
Stop hating on Sansa for doing her fucking job! Call her a bitch, call her cold, but to call someone a traitor or screwed up when she is acting on behalf of HER people like she's supposed to makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

I cannot believe the level of hatred towards Daenerys from Sansa. Sansa sat there in the cover of the crypts. Insulting Daenerys whilst she and her dragons are out there defending her. Then to add insult to injury, she barely shows any gratitude towards Daenerys or those who died for her-Ser Jorah, the Unsullied and Dothraki included. Then claims to not trust her. Honestly, I kept thinking “what a jealous, ungrateful woman you’ve become”. Quite frankly reminding me of Cersei. Any smart person would be grateful to have such a powerful ally, especially one that risked it all to protect her home. Who was also on her way to defeat the very person who kept her prisoner and murdered her family. Sansa never had the makings to be a Queen. And she never should have ended up on the Northern throne. The ending should have had Daenerys on The Iron Throne in the South, and Jon on the Northern throne. 2 Targaryens ruling the 7 kingdoms. Daenerys and Jon earned the right to rule. They also both having legitimate claims. With both Drogon and Rhaegal alive. Jon’s relationship with Rhaegal should have been developed, with the same intensity as Ghost. This dragon was named after his father. And he’d finally discovered his true family heritage.

Plus, Sansa grew up(for a few years at least) around Cersei. She can recognized a misguided/cruel leader from a mile away. Even though Dany is all smiles and "oh I love John" Sansa sees through it. She knows that Dany would literally do ANYTHING to rule. Plus Sansa has probably heard stories/rumors about Dany through the years. Killing, torturing people (even if they deserved it). Plus, Dany just expects people to follow her. The North doesn't work like that. Sansa doesn't work like that and Dany doesn't understand why she isn't basically being worshipped immediately. Sansa has no reason to trust Dany. None. Plus, she was right! Dany was corrupted (listen, they messed her story up of course), but she annihilated an entire city just because she was angry. Before you jump on the Hate Sansa train, just think back to what she's been through and how she's taken it in and learned from it. Rather than Dany who uses her misfortunes to fuel her tyranny.

Do you even think before you write something? Are you seriously comparing Daenerys to the sadistic psychopaths who abused, raped and held Sansa hostage?
“Sansa has no reason to trust Dany” yeah because how evil and selfish of Daenerys to fight alongside the North, protect the living, sacrifice her armies and dragons for the cause and risk her life actually fighting on the battlefield for the same rat that hides underground and runs her bitch mouth about the person that is the only reason this rat is not a corpse at the moment.
You’re right Daenerys did nothing to earn Sansa’s trust and did nothing to prove that she’s an ally to the North just almost died with her armies to protect this North. Let’s add the fact that she loved and saved her brother’s life 3 times and lost a dragon for it. But yeah she’s so evil for wanting the least thing the North can do as a gratitude - an allegiance.
The comparison with Cersei is the most laughable one so far. A deceiving arrogant spiteful woman who tricked the North vs a woman who kept her promise and fought for the North until the last moment with a sword in her hand even though she’s not a fighter. Nice thinking lol. Sansa stans are truly something.

I feel like sansa did have reason to distrust her or not to completely like her but she really was just looking for any and all reasons to hate on her

      She had a reason.
In episode one, she sees the looks between Jon and Dany, and she realized that Jon bent the knee out of love. This was something she warned Jon against and cited Robb as the reason.
In episode two, we see that Sansa was trying to figure out Dany's motivations. She did. Calling it "Jon's war" and hinting that Jon manipulated her spoke volumes, though as Sansa may not know it, this was a lie. Dany agreed after Viserion died.
In episode four we see what Dany was willing to sacrifice because she wanted to win.
Not to mention that almost every time Sansa trusted outsiders she wound up getting burned.
The thought that any surviving Stark child would trust Moe and Joe Black because they happen to a handful of sweets is insane.
To me, it's like having a really, really bad feeling about something and trusting your instincts. You can't put your finger on the why exactly, but you feel it.
Sansa trusted her gut. And Sansa was right.

Sansa, girl… Dany was just watching her baby boy flying and healthy again. She lost her army and her bestfring Jorah for North, she did everything that she could to protect the north. You are alive 70% bc of her. If she was in the throne, she would not enslave or do bad things against north. Like Robert did, he was good king and he did nothing bad against Winterfell, if only you could just understandable and respectfull against Dany, you both could make good friends, Ik that Sansa could not trust people but she could atleast give a chances against a person that has so many loyal people with her. Giving a chance wouldn’t be so bad.

Showrunners: Let's make both Sansa and Varys doubt/hate Daenerys because we know what is going to happen later on in the show, and that will make them seem really smart.
Audience: Wait so Daenerys put aside her war against Cersei for the throne, the thing she's wanted ever since she was a child. She risked her dragons which she sees as children to help save the world. She has been very kind and civil ever since arriving in Winterfell. Why exactly do they dislike her?
Showrunners: Haha we are so smart. They'll never see it coming.

I don't get how anyone thinks Sansa hates Dany. She has no reason to hate her. She doesn't trust her, and that's understandable. I know Dany helped Jon, but ultimately she's also protecting herself because Jon is needed to unite all forces against the white walkers. It's obvious that the Northerners don't trust Dany because they regard her as a foreigner and I mean, House Targ doesn't have the greatest rep. The reason Sansa says: you're afraid of her (to Tyrion) is simply because he is. He's afraid of her and is going to obey her every command without questioning any possible mistakes on her part. Jorah and Jon do the same, partly out of fear, but also because they are smitten with Dany. That's why Arya backs Sansa up when Jon brings up her distrust of Dany, even though Arya is much closer to Jon. Also, don't forget, Sansa does not want to rule. She encourages Jon to rule. She just wants security for her house, objectively speaking.

Stupid question but what’s Drogon sniffing on? I don’t remember, It’s like he’s taking in a scent when Rhegal is taking off.
It’s been years & I’m still not ready to go back & watch GOT.

Sansa Turned on Jon snow the moment Bran came back from beyond the wall and offered Bran The Northern crown even Tho The Northern Lords chose Jon as their King she didn't care about the North or what they wanted. Also She then puts Jon in danger when she told tyrion his true Parentage if Daenerys went truly mad she would have executed Jon and Arya and then went after Sansa. Sansa was a dumb mean girl just like Cersie i mean littlefinger would have never antagonised Daenerys he would have manipulated her and used her

I am on Sansa's side. Daenerys only wanted to conquer everything but she wasn't capable of ruling as we saw in Mereen. She didn't have the patience to do it. Plus she says she freed the slaves but it was only an excuse to gain more people to fight for her. She didn't free the Dothraki, she conquered them by burning their rulers, she said she freed the Unsullied and Missandei but in the end they all serve her as slaves. She could have stayed in Mereen to rule but she wanted to conquer Westeros and abandoned everything she had done in the East. Everything she accomplished was because of her dragons not because she was smart like Cersei or a fighter like Arya. In the end she became so cocky to start burning people that didn't support her like the Tarlys. If she hadnt had dragons, she would have been dead long ago. Her supporters were on her side simply because she had dragons.
Sansa on the other hand went through hell, she became a player in the game, she helped conquer the North, she ruled when Jon was away, she fought for the North to stay free, she cared about her people and her family. She demonstrated to be a capable ruler.

and then Rhaegal died a pointless death. if he was gonna go down at least make him go down in an important way, like in the battle with wight!Viserion, or maybe the raid on King's Landing that would have been the perfect moment Dany and Drogon finally snapped.
they made him get better for a bit then dropped a bridge on him

I hate that they killed Rhaegall like they did. They could have let him die honorably fighting undead viserion. It would have been so cool to have them kill each other obviously Viserion wouldn’t have died but maybe Rhaegall tore him in half before firing and we just see viserion struggling still undead. Or have rhaegall get taken out at the battle of kings landing which would have contributed to dany emotional desition to destroy the city.
