March of the Black Queen! Or double up with Stone Cold Crazy and In the Lap of the Gods -Revisited. Love your channel! I'm a Queen fan and an L33 fan! By the way, you can't beat live Queen!
Check out their less known jewels like Dragon Attack, The Millionaire Waltz, My Melancholy Blues and Death on Two Legs, Lilly of the Valley, Princes of the Universe, It’s A Hard Life.
This song is fun and reminds me of when my friend who has the Queen logo tattooed on his shoulder gave me an extended tape with Queen 1 on one side & Queen 2 on the other side. It was 1996 & 19. I had their 3&4th albums & Jazz at that point. I am forever grateful to him.
@@L33Reacts Without question! My favorite Queen album is Queen II, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't even a hit single on it. If you want to hear a great per-cursor to Bohemian Rhapsody, check out March of the Black Queen...kickass tune with lots of fun transitions.
I walked into a record store on Cleveland's east side in the summer of 1973. Just as I walked in, they put Queen I on the turntable. From the first chords of Keep Yourself Alive, I was hooked. I bought the album and couldn't wait to play the whole album when I got home. Also, loved that on the back jacket, there was the note that no one played the synthesizer. There's only been a handful of records in my modest collection that I can remember the exact time and place I was when I first heard the record or the band. It's a great record
Loved your reaction 💕I would still like you to react to the Queen video of ‘I Want it All’…..with Freddie singing. There is no live version of this song because Freddie was already sick and had stopped performing live. Other live performance would be ‘Somebody to Love’ in Montreal 1981 or in Milton Keynes 1982, both are fabulous and slightly different. Also ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ live from most any of their live performances.
Great song and debut album, it was a hard rock classic in their own style, right off the bat. For another banger of a track from it, do Great King Rat, one of the heaviest Rockers they ever did. Another killer deep cut is Jesus, Brian May's solo is the heaviest this side of Tony Iommi, he soars as so !ugh of this album does, announcing a new, great band was on the scene. I had this album the week it came out and saw their first 3 tours, the first 2 in theater settings, doing songs from the first 3 albums. By the third tour they were in arenas. You can see this tour by searching Queen Live 1974, some absolutely great performances when they really Rocked Out! Enjoy. 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶🔥
Early Queen, all day long. You can hardly go wrong with any track you choose, right up through A Day At The Races, some would argue through Jazz. And their early Live recordings are revelatory in their own right! ❤👑
I used to lip sync this song from start to finish pretending to play in front of my high school graduated 1977. Now I’m 65 and still love this song. Oh. And the album is an entire play from start to finish. Other than Boston this would be the greatest debut album.
Like a lot of first albums, all the material had been tested on the road for years before the recording. Awesome album, and probably still my favorite Queen album (closely followed by Queen 2).
Queen changed up their live performances to be a little different from the studio version--try doing the studio version of a song and then the live in the same reaction. (Queen doesn't block including live and videos.)
This remains my favourite Queen song and, although it's a bit of a stretch to call their debut album, heavy metal, there is a lot to like about it. Great King Rat is my next favourite.
There you are, Mr. Drummer, right from the beginning....me I thrill in anticipation of 'Deaky's bass and of course the vocals (w/awesome Freddie leading)! Take a look at this 'in Concert' ... spectacular! Freddie said what he wanted to say - tho' keeping honest. . . quite the philosophical 'free man' I constantly glean as truth from Freddie lyrics for sure.
Liar must be a popular title for a song. Early Queen is epic! Face it, later Queen was too. For other great songs called "Liar" may I humbly suggest Russ Ballard's "Liar" as recorded by 3 Dog Night. For the original, it's an Argent song. Henry Rollins also has an epic song named "Liar". Happy hunting!
Freddie was a massive fan of The Who. Freddie learned to play the guitar quite late, and he was extremely excited when he could finally play Pinball Wizard on the guitar.
I think their first five albums are their best, as an album I actually prefer Day At The Races to Night At The Opera, but better still, in my opinion, are Queen and Sheer Heart Attack. Side one of Queen is awesome.
Any album up to and including The Game is great, each is different. I have Miracle, good but knowing what’s coming can be a bit of a downer. The older stuff is so positive!
Thx bro. Many memories. Saw them 3 nights in a row at the Forum in LA back in 80 or 81 ish. They were so good I can’t describe it. You know it’s so hard to say who’s the best band is or was, but if I made a top 10 of all time, Queen would be on the list. Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Led Zep, Queen, Doors, King Crimson, Yes & ELP. The fusion guys lije Weather Report, Mahavishnu orchestra, & Chick Corea are a whole other category, & there’s many more on that list. There’s also a ton of great bands after the top 10, we all know who they are, Cream, Who, Jethro Tull, etc., but again, another list. Anyway, thanks Lee. Fun times. Thx 4 bringing back the memories. Peace & blessing buddy.🎸🎹🥁✌️😎
what track by queen should we do next?
39 off of A Night At The Opera, or Death of Two Legs, same album
@@tommelle5074 yes...both!

Stone Cold Crazy and Lap of the Gods Revisited LIVE at the Rainbow 1974!
Check out their less known jewels like Dragon Attack, The Millionaire Waltz, My Melancholy Blues and Death on Two Legs, Lilly of the Valley, Princes of the Universe, It’s A Hard Life.
This song is even BETTER live in concert Rainbow 1974--entire concert is great!!

keep yourself alive, son and daughter.. these first 3 albums especially, and the next 3 are top level too.
they have one hell of a catalog it seems... not much of a weak link anywhere!

I love this song but my favorite performance is Live at Rainbow. Freddie is incredible and the rest of the band shines as well.
Roger Fucking Taylor killing it on the drums! And vocals!!!

The first 4 albums of Queen are where I go the most. They wrestle absolute MONSTERS in the studio and ROCKED your face off at the same time!
"Stone Cold Crazy" was the first song performed at their first show as "Queen".👑
Excellent pick, Tom, and may you have a great birthday. Blessings all.
Saw them do this live at the auditorium in Chicago before anyone knew who Queen were. Awesome 😎
Queen was so good. Freddie liked classical/opera music and it shows in the use of choruses and complexity of his music.
they really were! i love the mix of styles and genres they play around with. it is always entertaining!
One off my fav Queen songs.

They have this live. It’s GREAT!!
This was the first song I heard from them on the radio. My sister gave this album the following Christmas.

"Now I'm Here" (Sheer Heart Attack)... used it to open the show (for the album tour). GREAT visual effect!
My favorite Queen song of all time. Thank you
This is one song that really needs to be seen !! An awesome video !!! 👑
Energy!

Happy Birthday, Tom!
Like a lot of first albums, all the material had been tested on the road for years before the recording. Awesome album, and probably still my favorite Queen album (closely followed by Queen 2).
What did Mark Twain say: "You've got to have a good memory to be liar?
Queen changed up their live performances to be a little different from the studio version--try doing the studio version of a song and then the live in the same reaction. (Queen doesn't block including live and videos.)
“Doing All Right” & “Great Rat King” are my favorites (1973) ❤️🎸🔥 I don’t think anyone would object for you to review their first 2 albums 🔥🔥🔥
This remains my favourite Queen song and, although it's a bit of a stretch to call their debut album, heavy metal, there is a lot to like about it. Great King Rat is my next favourite.
The duet with John....❤
Early Queen rocked hard! But, then, after initial success, the pop bug bit...as usual. Oh, well...
This is exciting 🎉
If you get the chance, watch this live at the Rainbow in 1974, and you get to see John Deacon kill it on the bass. Great reaction
I identify with #liar.
Now it's #tothineownselfbetrue

Happy Birthday Tom! 🎉
Great song!
The first 3 albums had a lot of heaviness and a lot of prog.
Tie Your Mother Down is the ultimate Queen song. Bar none !!

Apart from The Beatles, Queen are my favourite especially those early '70s albums. Liar is a classic. Do the rest of this album.
i for sure want to do more... i think the next one is live in rio 1985. and then i'm free to do whatever! I'll keep that in mind!
Deacon's bass part was a 'look forward' moment during Queen's early sets up until it was dropped. Lyrically, Liar has tones of Bohemian Rhapsody.
Check out Don't Stop Me Now for a killer fun song!
i might have heard that one... it sounds familiar.
Love this pick.
Try Death on two legs, there's a good possibility you'll like that one. When Freddie wants to say something he doesn't hold back ❤❤❤❤
Great song.
i agree, that was awesome!
I can hear a lot of " The Who" influence in this.
Freddie was a massive fan of The Who. Freddie learned to play the guitar quite late, and he was extremely excited when he could finally play Pinball Wizard on the guitar.

Great debut much heavier- an album you should feature
BRO PLEASE REACTION Live version Of Queen - LIAR - Live at the rainbow😢😢

Rainbow 1974 or album track? Either way, baby Queen is next level.
it's the album track. and yeah, this was a wild ride for sure. I want to hear more from this album now LoL
@@L33Reacts seven seasons of rye is amazing.
@@Moz1011 The full version of Seven Seas is on Queen II and, yes, love it!
@ellet6560 I loved all the early queen.
Seeing this live is never to be forgotten

Great King Rat or Keep Yourself Alive
I. Inch prefer their heavier stuff
