When I listen to this song it's kind of happy, but at the same time it kinda makes me sad.
In my mind (I don't know if this is what it's actually about) it's about a young guy who has dreams of fame, but isn't actually recognized by anyone for what he does.......
The happy part being that he truly enjoys what he is doing.....and it gives him his purpose.

I just learned that Phil Hernandez is in this video! I met Phil in the 90’s in Denton Texas when he played for Brave Combo and I did know that he did some things with TMBG but I didn’t know he was in this video, so cool
I love that the song with the line "I can handle criticism" is the only TMBG video I've seen that allows likes/dislikes on it still. Although not on the comments.
