Ty... in all outward appearance, it seems you are a hobie compass convert. You gave the revo a fair chance, and the outback was clearly your staple for so many years, but I’m seeing the compass doing everything you want. Let us know what’s on your mind.
u are dead on sir... the compass is almost as fast as a revo, much easier to stand in than a outback and lighter than an outback. wide open.... its become the boat to beat for sure....

i use the natural colors alot. anything that looks like a minnow or a cigar minnow. they all work tho.

What makes you think it was a black fin? The original title was “little tunny” right? It sounded like you thought it was a false albacore during the fight also. What made you now think it’s a black fin?
after some thought and input from other fishin buddies i went with my original thought... TUNA.
they were moving different then the tunny schools. the fight was fast and furious and down. FAST! i wasn't sure till re-watching the video.
What pound test were you using?
15 or 20... i now think that was a black fin tuna.
