I'm a Lindy Hopper, I really look forward to dancing to your music live some day! The conversation of movement and sound between dancer and musician is so magical!
Hi. New fan here. I came for the outfits(via Ms. Bernadette Banner), but will definately stay for the music! Wow your good, and your band is great! This music made me feel like i opened a jar of sunshine, thank you :) ps. Your now beeing played in Northern Norway too ^^ Harlem Rythm and Rythm is our Buisness was my faves.
I had dreamed of dancing for a super long time and last year I finally had the courage to take a course with my boyfriend. We do not plan to stop any soon. It feels so amazing to pour out your feelings and like bryan ferry said: dance away the heartache. The lindy hop part really made me wanna learn that style of dance, too. The music and joy made me feel like I have to move :D I guess I will have to put on some music now and shake it out :)
Impossible to pick a favorite one, they all were amazing. Although I did get distracted repeatedly by the thought that if I tried to move anything like that it would certainly lead to severe injury within seconds :D
Pick a favorite??? You’ve got to be kidding, they were all so good! Thanks for sharing your music and for shouting out to other artists. Can’t wait for Part 2!
I loved the tap dancing and Lindy Hop!! I used to take tap when I was little, and a couple of my friends have taken Lindy Hop at my college! This video really makes me want to take a dance class, or more likely, dance in my room! Thanks so much for the video :D
Hiya Dandy, tuning in from Belgium! 😄😺🙌 Love them all but if I really have to choose it's got to be Dewitt (the tapping just complemented the music so well 😄) and Nils and Bianca (just...wowzee!!). Definitely looking forward to part 2! 👍😎😏
Thanks for all the love to dance and dacners :) I teach a jazz dance class and I'm planning to do a combination to Honey Doo. I've been listening to it on repeat, getting ready for work has never been so fun!
I'm gonna save some money to enroll in your courses cuz Dandy, what EVEN is your style. Also, hearing Rio in your songs just made my heart extra warm. I don't know what is it about Brazil being acknowledged that makes me so emotional, but it always touches me. These people's stage presence is mind-blowing. Made me miss dancing quite a lot.
I can appreciate music that I can vibe to and music I can dance (badly but it’s still fun), and yours my good sir, ticks both boxes. I love you so much 😘😘😘
I love that lapel pin - and lapel pins in general. I typically use them for political statements, but it’s more grown up than wearing a t-shirt with the same message.
This was great! My husband and I are big jazz fans and the music and the performances were terrific!! Made me smile through each song/dance. Thank you so much!
Like they said, if you can't dance to Coltrane then you can't dance 👊🏾 wonderful video as always. I would love to learn how to tap dance, ballroom dance, and lindyhop.
Hey Dandy! I stumbled across Bernadette Banner's channel just a few days ago and she led me over here. Wow, you guys have awesome channels. Thank you so much for sharing your love of vintage clothing and sound, this video made me really smile!
Composing challenge for you, please, Sir. I would love to hear you compose for a couple's first dance on their wedding day. I love your music & I am sharing this to some dancers I have met. Bravo!
Next paycheck I need to buy an album. I'm just not sure which one I want 😅. Your music always put me in a good mood ❤️. Greatfuly yours, Dandy Wellington!
New fan here! Love your channel! I am a DJ for a radio station that plays Hot Jazz, Big Band, Swing, Sweet and Jive and Boogie Woogie. Always looking for new artists that celebrate the music of the 20s, 30s, and 40s. Do you have a CD? Yes we still play vinyls and CDs... This is just so upbeat and fun! Thanks for sharing!
@@DandyWellington I completely agree. I think the hardest part for me in this time is that I am usually surrounded by it (I work in opera), and to not have music in my life for 8+ hours a day has been very tough. Thank you for your video as it allowed me to dance a little bit while getting ready, which I haven't done in close to 4 months.
I don't think of tap dance as dancing. To me it's more like people using their feet as instruments. When someone starts tapping to your songs they're jamming with you. I think the first time I heard jazz was in a cartoon when I was a kid. I can still remember it. Here's an edited version: ruclips.net/video/SdcbOin7iS8/видео.html I have loved it ever since. I don't know what it is but jazz grabs people and doesn't let go. So much fun.
I really hope you all enjoy this video! I hope to one day make a part 2
Please do!!! This was fantastic
How fabulous is this?! Yes, please!!!! (Chanting) *We want MORE!*
Dandy Wellington: writes a song
Also Dandy Wellington: I love this song!
That's the only attitude we need in 2020

Yeah you did!!
Kudos! Your work is a snappy polished piece.

It’s so cool to see so many amazing dancers! I got to see Nils and Bianca front row floor seats at Camp Hollywood last year
"It's good to see you and it's good to be seen." ❤️

Wonderful showcase of music and dance! It put a smile and song in my heart :)
Thanks Vivian!
How fun to also get to see such a happy performance on a classic Swedish 'dansbana' - dance court, I guess?
What a wonderful way to make a collaboration and share your music. So much talent in one video!
Love this so much! ❤️ Quarantine has me sorely missing the Lindy Hop social dance scene!
Absolutely adore your performance! With your voice, coordination, and presence, you're one of my band leader heroes.
Thank you for the toe tapping songs. You just made my day a happier place!!!!!!!!
What a fabulous video! I just found you a couple weeks ago, and subscribed immediately.

Your music just speaks to my soul. I’m loving the dances!! Glorious! My favorite was Nils and Bianca...their dance was like pure joy.
They are so good right!? Thanks for watching!
C'est magnifique ! Merci beaucoup. "Harlem Rhythm" is my favourite.
I love that lapel pin - and lapel pins in general. I typically use them for political statements, but it’s more grown up than wearing a t-shirt with the same message.
They were all joyful and energizing, but Kiera Brunton’s was my favorite.
Thank you so much! x

Thank you for this incredible video of amazing music and beautiful dancing!!! Such a joy and inspiration!

@@DandyWellington a lot of us subscribers are going to petition for Dandy on vinyl. That would be sooooo sweet!
♡
This is so cuteeee, such a nice video!!
Great video! I think my favourite dancer was Dewitt Fleming Jr. I'm very partial to percussive dancing, and he's a true talent of it!
He is incredibly talented!
Best way to start my day!
Dance in the morning!
Wonderful!
Cheers!
Those were so delightful!!!!
I loved it I love to see what different dancers come up with with your music that was fantastic I wouldn't mind seeing some more thank you very much
Thank you! Id love to do a part 2 one day
Charming!
This was fantastic! Music really does transcend all boundaries. Thank you for sharing your passion and music.
