I went there in like 2015 idk it was great my fav was the grouper and the beach is nice and we went to look at another resort while we were their and omg that place was nice
@@sammyndreas I've been in both, and coral beach is more luxurious and is massive, is walking distance from the night clubs, and their shows are amazing, the last time I was there, they had the coco bongo crew performing at the theater!, they also have jetski rental on-site, as well as snorkel tours, they also have a floating platform where you can swim to and it has some great views of the hotel!
The beaches were absolutely spectacular and the people were so friendly Great place for a getaway I spent all day at the beach relaxing and afterwards went into the dining to have a beautiful dinner their food is fantastic I definitely plan to go again ❤
Did they stopped doing room service through the tablet they had on the rooms? It's been the only resort I've been where I could order room service with the iPad, it was amazing!
Disappointed in this resort, food is a three star, we have had trouble getting towels for our room everyday. Overall disappointed with our stay this week.
Most unfortunate turn of events. No tourists were involved though, just a cartel thing. The area is safe but still has a potential for problems, just like any big city in the US. There was another shooting in July at the Riu Palace Peninsula (or right on the beach where the resort is) that resulted in a death as well. It was a cartel hit and again no tourists involved. Not great for that 'super safe' feeling, but overall it is pretty safe all along the Hotel Zone.

Nothing gourmet about the Italian restaurant they need to revamp that whole menu and learn how to make it properly
