Impressive and I guess if I had a lathe, I'd be whittling similar pieces here. The one that I made that looks similar externally is made from steel pipe, freeze plugs, a variety of washers and stuck together with brazing rod. My favorite raw material is those old mid century tapered metal table legs.

I've used lathes myself, and you've done an amazing thing with that muffler! Me, I made a Center punch not to long ago turned out really cool!
Good job Man! I've had to make a few mufflers from pics myself mostly for old school minibikes.
