I was a manager at Walmart for a year, and earlier this year I had to quit because it was either that or ending my life. The environment at an actual Walmart when you work there is detrimental, so to see them pretend to work there is infuriating . I wish I could take them back to my old store and have them meet my old general manager.

Having worked at a grocery and merch store, I cannot tell you how legitimately furious these “influencers” make me. I’ve had people threaten me for catching them stealing, refusing to sell them alcohol when they didn’t provide ID, etc., was sexually harassed by multiple older men AND a coworker, and yet I was basically given the silent treatment when I asked management for help. Pay was so low too. A week before I up and quit that job I was contemplating ending my life because I was that mentally and physically exhausted from the job. These “influencers” really need a taste of what the real world is like.

When my brother worked at Walmart as the person who gets the carts in the parking lot, there was a literal tornado heading towards the store, tornado sirens blaring and he asked if he could come inside till it passed and the manager asked if the carts were all out of the parking lot, he said most of them but there were a couple left and the manager told him he had to get them all before he could come inside so they didn't hit any of the customer cars, so he had to go back out into the storm and get them. From that day on I completely hated Walmart. These types of people who make fun of normal people are trash

My dad worked overnight for a bit because he had to but something else opened up during the day and he was able to transfer. Be thankful they have jobs but also let them know how you feel.

I was literally telling my boyfriend yesterday that if I became super rich I'd still live the way I do now. Actually, I did work at Walmart for $8 an hour in the early 2000's. It sucked massively. It is an extremely stressful job and they treat you like a slave. They called me on my days off to go into work. I was extremely burnt out by the end of it. It was literally the worst job ever. I'm glad they raised the minimum wage for Walmart because when I was there, $8 an hour was good. There were some people who made $7.50 an hour and this was in the San Francisco Bay Area. I would gladly have worked at Walmart for $13 an hour. Add benefits and I would have been over the moon.
I already have a plan to send all the people ill-suited to peaceful & respectful living among other humans to another planet. When they have children, they get sent to a 2nd planet to see which way they turn. After careful screening, some will go back up to Dopelandia. The precious few can come to Earth.
My sister has been working for Walmart for 13 years... from what ive heard its like being in high school with mean girls but to the extreme and not at all what they made it look like it that ad. I don't think the guy defending them considered all of the workers that are stuck there and not being able to do their job so these rich people can walk around and act like their jobs are so easy.

I work in a grocery store and so many people grab a cart for two items then just leave them in the middle of the lobby, sometimes there’s like 12 and I have to put them back against the rows we have like 5 feet away from the door bc people can’t get to merchandise in the lobby 😭😭😭 that and people leaving their half full Starbucks drinks and their child’s half eaten bananas for me to throw away. God, I hate people I wish I could hide in a cave and quit sometimes 🤣

I was excited to visit Walmart, not because I’m rich but because my country has no Walmart and I hear this place everywhere.
I was literally telling my boyfriend yesterday that if I became super rich I'd still live the way I do now. Including shopping at Walmart 😂 Of course, I would buy a house and get a brand new nice car and stuff like that but I'd still live very simple life and shop At the same stores that I do now. Thinking about some of these people going to Walmart for the first time is so funny. Yet so sad😅

Actually, I did work at Walmart for $8 an hour in the early 2000's. It sucked massively. It is an extremely stressful job and they treat you like a slave. They called me on my days off to go into work. I was extremely burnt out by the end of it. It was literally the worst job ever.
I'm glad they raised the minimum wage for Walmart because when I was there, $8 an hour was good. There were some people who made $7.50 an hour and this was in the San Francisco Bay Area. I would gladly have worked at Walmart for $13 an hour. Add benefits and I would have been over the moon.

My sister has been working for Walmart for 13 years... from what ive heard its like being in high school with mean girls but to the extreme and not at all what they made it look like it that ad. I don't think the guy defending them considered all of the workers that are stuck there and not being able to do their job so these rich people can walk around and act like their jobs are so easy.

I don’t even like the Kardashians, but honestly good job if she did actually put her cart back. I work in a grocery store and so many people grab a cart for two items then just leave them in the middle of the lobby, sometimes there’s like 12 and I have to put them back against the rows we have like 5 feet away from the door bc people can’t get to merchandise in the lobby 😭😭😭 that and people leaving their half full Starbucks drinks and their child’s half eaten bananas for me to throw away. God, I hate people I wish I could hide in a cave and quit sometimes 🤣
