Hi Natasha 🙂 I love these videos that I can almost smell the watermelon jelly cooking. I was working for a neighbor and he gave me about 20 LBS of peaches so I'm planning some peach based recipes as I watch this video . God bless and happy preserving .
I loved this video (well, all of them really)! I would have never thought to do this with watermelons. I think the website is a great idea and let's start with this one. I would definitely buy a few of those jars of jelly (1 yellow, 1 red, & 1 spicy). Thanks for sharing!
Most content creators I watch tend to make a website for a variety of things (shirts, hats, build plans, etc.) and I had previously wondered if a website would be great for this channel. Selling some canned goods, selling off any extra seeds, links to items used, recipes or anything else that might come up later seems like an excellent idea! The only concern I have would be time. I'm starting to think you don't sleep. 😂
Seth and I both chuckled at the “I'm wondering if you sleep” comment 😂😂 I am honestly looking forward to winter and slower season quite a bit this year!
Hello from South Australia! Thanks for all the wonderful preserving ideas for watermelon and the recipies! We are looking forward to our warmer growing months of spring and summer, so know I know what to do with all of the watermelon. You are amazing with growing in your 18 garden beds and what you do with all the produce ... plus being a wife and mother! Very inspirational ... I just need to get off my butt, stop drinking coffee and get to work!
i am hate watching this vid tbh but for the watermelons and not for you LOL. this is the second year in a row i've planted watermelon vines and they literally just sit and never change or grow even an inch the FULL season. it's actually kind of wild to watch a plant refuse to grow an inch for months at a time. i really don't know what i am doing wrong. it isn't sunlight, it isn't spacing [these were the problems my first year trying them] and it isn't temp. makes me so sad tho. vining plants are my #1 favorite thing to watch grow. your harvest is absolutely stunning, as usual 🥰🥰 apologies for venting! lol
Vent away, my friend!! I completely understand the frustration, your watermelons are my Brussels sprouts. Every year they grow beautifully, get Brussels sprouts buds, and then bam! They flower and I get nothing 😒😒 We both got a good chuckle out of your comment because it's so true! ❤️
@@ShepherdingPeppersFarm 😄😅Thank you!! this comment actually did make me feel a bit better about it. really gets me down when plants don't thrive the way they're supposed to! so again, appreciate your words. happy growing, you two! 🙏
are you able to can the watermelon pulp to use later like applesauce? if you didn't want to make all the fruit leather at once you can make a bunch of pulp and can it

Thank you! This was wonderful to read! ❤️
I live in Charleston, SC and would love to buy some of your saved seeds that do well in our region. I’d add a jar or two of your jelly.
Yesterday was my first day of going seeds in packaging to go on the website! ❤️🙌
Such beautiful colours 😊 oh I forgot to ask did you get the pesky chickens sorted so they don’t get into the garden 😂
Oh yes! The garden is now chicken free 🙌❤️

With all of that watermelon, have you ever tried watermelon rind pickles??
I have! I feel guilty saying it but I've never been a big fan 😂
I usually juice my watermelons also that seeds and pulp are taken out!
I am very interested in the website and to know when you have extra if it is possible to ship to Belgium?
I'll definitely look into the international shipping ❤️
Hi Natasha, what dehydrator are you using?
Its the commercial one, linked in our amazon store ❤️ www.amazon.com/shop/shepherding_peppers_farm

I haven't tried it honestly but it sounds like a great idea!
Did you water bath your juice or pressure can?
I pressure canned but you could do either! ❤️
