    Happy Saturday!!! I look forward to Saturday mornings with you in my kitchen while I’m doing tasks. I love seeing your harvest. It gives me hope while I’m in the process of building my soil health. (as cheaply as possible) I’m most looking forward to growing Lesya peppers! I just realized that its only about 10 weeks or so until we start seeds. I grew 1 peach pepper this year and hardly got anything but now that it’s cooler in Texas my plant is loaded! I’m going to make my husband some peach pepper jam. Thanks for sharing with us. You are adding to my knowledge and skill set. 😊 have a blessed day!

    1:23 It's crazy, you have more rain in that wheelbarrow than I had gotten in June, July and August combined here in Kentucky. 8:06 It just seems like a few weeks ago you were making Seth pronounce the Txorixero peppers for you. 😁 22:38 Fun Fact: Rollie Pollies don't eat the fruits produced by plants. 😈 29:20 Uh oh, sounds like it's time for a zero turn for the mowing speed. 😁 I'm happy to see that there wasn't much damage from the storms! This is something I have experienced myself and and hve come to understand that same had been scientifically proved. Whenever you're out in your Garden, ALWAYS be totally barefoot because our soles love and deserve that freedom. They love to feel various textures of soil between their toes. Apart from n it's very healthy to be barefoot outside. Take for example two plants, one grown inside a pot and tge other grown in Nature. However much you water and use fertilizer, it never looks as healthy as the latter. This is simply because the roots have a limited space to stread and the Nurishment too is the same. The soles of our feet are like the roots of a tree.When you're not barefoot that natural process is obstructed. Our soles are designs to absorb things which are essential to lead a healthy lifestyle. However, use of footwear deprives this process. Apaurt from that there are a large number of Sensors / Nerve endings on the soles of our feet, which connects from head to toe. When we walk on Sand, Gravel and Tiny Stones /Pebbles,our entire body gets stimulated through these sensors. Once again Footwear deprives this natural process. So, go barefoot always for good health and happy feet and soles.

      Out here we have venomous snakes who hang out in our backyard and garden, fire ants and a beast of a wasp called a cow killer (a ground wasp) that has a sting so bad it is said to kill a cow. As much as I appreciate the advice, shoe are a non negotiable out here.

    Homeschooling moms always worry about if we're doing good enough compared to the public school kids. You're doing great. Most high school kids today are functionally illiterate, are socially awkward and cant make eye contact or hold an intelligent conversation, ouldn't provide food for themselves, don't know how to fix anything, and lack any respect for their or other communities and the environment. The public system bar is so low its sad. Your kids are so beyond government school kids in many many ways. There's so much more to education than just producing kids who test well. Keep up the great job!

    Love your videos and your family is so sweet! Been busy here and have a question. Been using small mason jars for my peppers in vinegar. Had to go up to a 1/2 gal today and find that my weight just goes to the bottom. What do you use, or what do you suggest, to add to the top before the weight ti submerge the peppers?

    • @ShepherdingPeppersFarm
      @ShepherdingPeppersFarm 6 дней назад

      It was a little silly but I cut an old Tupperware lid (saved from the Tupperware containers you get at the grocery store, with lunch meats in them) to a shape large enough to cover all the peppers and had to fold it and squeeze it to get it in and then placed the weight on top of that, and its works fantastically!
