Добавлен 16 май 2022
Hey Ya'll, welcome to our little hobby farm. Here we focus more on enjoying our lives as modern homesteaders. Believing life is better when lived passionately, with a beautiful garden, a meal made from scratch (when possible) and a house full of love and noise.
Welcome to the garden, to the kitchen, and our small farm in South Carolina.
Faith is like a seed; plant it in your heart. God gives the harvest at the appointed time. (Mark 4:26-27,28-29)

The Most Amazing Sweet Potato Recipe of ALL Time
Hi what does BPO mean please
im excited . i have my peppers going and this weekend im doing tomatoes, cabbage etc
Seed starting are my all time favorite videos, then “what I’m growing in 2025” videos. Also medicinal vids. Thanks for sharing!
So Exciting 🎉🎉🎉
Can I borrow the extra cute helper!!
Hi Natasha, when you start several seeds in each cup, do you separate them and pot them up? Or do you leave the most healthy and cut the others?
I'd like to hear a few more songs in your upcoming videos, girl you can sing !
Adoro

Have you ever been to an Asia/ Japanese grocery store? Their fresh fruits and vegetables are awesome! My kids have tried so many different varieties that they don’t sale in a regular store. I accidentally ran across one about hour from me. We love going in and exploring.
Thanks! Where did your shelf come from the one you put bananas on.
Lol I also cant keep my cats off the counter!!! Such is life 😂
Meal prep is a lifesaver! Thanks for sharing your tips.
I absolutely adored watching your little boy double dip his carrot licking the ranch off. He looked so happy about it ❤
5:48 Homemade mayo!!! I've always wanted to try this but don't have a source of good, unwashed eggs... yet. I'm very committed to building / getting a huge coop and hens this spring. ❤ Everything looks so amazing here! Thanks for sharing your recipes! Have a wonderful weekend! 🙏
Your husband loves you very much.

When it comes to tortilla I figure I need to pick my battles, I don’t make it from scratch
lol I completely agree the little spoon tomato’s are so difficult!! But they are so good too!! Too bad there’s not a bush variety that you can put in a little pot and just pick a few off for a snack.
Your idea with the hog fence to use as a trellis for tomatoes looks like a great idea
I love growing long gourds! My longest was,121.25 inches and I won $150 with it at a,weigh off!
You've certainly got the room for all of them!!
I have been patiently waiting for your video and what seeds you would be starting and here it starts super excited, I love all your information you share it helps with still being new to gardening. I can’t wait until you show the rest and especially peppers. I got Dr. Wyches this year too excited to try them seen so many people say how good they are Can I get the link to your website please
Hello Miss Natasha. I'm so happy to see this video. I really enjoyed last year's series. Have a glorious day.
I have over 15 varieties of peppers I'm starting soon! I need to make a bigger seed sprouting zone 🤔
I've been waiting for this video ❤
This year I’m growing sungold cherry, super sweet 100, Abe Lincoln, aunt ruby’s german green, Alice’s dream, and rebel starfighter prime
awesome choices to have. this year im growing the large red and cherokee purple. last year i also did some paste tomatoes and they crossed pollinated. so this year im just want to grow one variety. i have my peppers started and half of them has sprouted. im also gonna do one cabbage. tomorrow i will be starting the cabbage and tomato seeds.
I didn’t see the seed binders in your Amazon store 😢
Sorry! I just went in and added them!
@ Thank you!
I grew the paul robeson tomato last year and is not making the cut this year either. It didn’t produce well either. I would rather use the space for a more productive variety.
I love when you do these. So excited to see you back! ❤🎉
Love your series on What are we growing in the garden. I learn something (a lot of things) every year and every video. My last two years was a tomato flop. Great plants but no tomatoes. I have been researching my soil. Maybe it needs something. I feel like it has too much nitrogen.
I am trying to find tomatoes that withstand Arizona summers. Dry and 115-120 degrees. Any suggestions would be welcome. I have started some plants early to get them established before the heat hits, but no favorites yet.will have to get back to you on that. Glad you are healing well. God bless you.
Last year was my first year and it’s a comfort to see all these long time growers that struggled with the insane pest pressure and heat. I picked a great time to start 😂Dr Wyche’s performed like the rest, not super great, but it tasted so good, I’m trying again. Adding shade cloth this year in case we have another scorcher of a summer. I’m also trying more hybrids (La Roma III, Heatmaster, Plum Regal). I’m looking forward to hearing how your Johnny’s seeds do! Heard great things about those varieties. I love those notebooks! I use the same method and love it with one I had lying around but I might treat myself to the beauty! I’m trying Blue Cream Berries for my tomato hating daughter too 😅
Last year was terrible for bugs over here, I had many more plants but the yield was disappointing. . I have yet to get a tomato I really want to grow forever, I will not plant indigo rose again though, first ones to get diseased and the tomatoes did not ripe even after nearly 3months on the vine. As you say, no ribbed tomatoes here either, last year the earwigs loved them. I'm start to plan long term on how to bring more predator bugs to the yard..Or even adopt a pet lizard /chameleon for outside 🤣
Happy Saturday Natasha and fam! We will be growing a couple of the same tomatoes. Dr. Wyche’s, and Black beauty. It’ll be my first time growing both. I also net my tomatoes because otherwise grasshoppers will devour them. Last year I spent about 20 minutes every morning picking off grasshoppers with chickens following me around for their protein breakfast 😆 the netting really does slow them down. What I am excited about growing is dwarf, determinate, and semi determinate tomatoes. I am trying to find good flavored varieties and have less indeterminant that need trellising. I’m also excited to try Megatron and Lesya peppers that I bought from your website. Lastly, I am very excited about expanding my herbs including horseradish and targeting particular health issues. I would like to send you a couple seeds that I think would be really interesting to try. A dwarf moringa “tree” from Baker creek that is an annual so there’s no permanent commitment, and a larger variety of luffa from Jerras garden. So happy you are back and doing well! 🌸
Thank you for the awesome instapot bean recipe!! 😊
I could listen to you chat all day, Lol. Because of you, I'm starting my very first garden this year ... fingers crossed.
Haha don't you hate that.....talk about how nice it is to have some peace, 2 seconds later in walks the noisy one 😂
I as well try to do as much as I can from scratch and use glass instead of plastic where I can. Do we still have Cheetos once in a blue moon? Yes is it all the time? No. But if others can't grow their food and cook everything from scratch due to time or money or whatever, that is fine. Encouraging people to do even a little bit of clean eating and making what you can for household cleaners and soaps is such a wonderful thing. Starting small towards that is ok. We all started this journey of getting micro plastics out of our food and household items a little at a time but keep Encouraging each other. You are so good at that on this channel and I appreciate you. Your face is beautiful just the way it is. If you chose to go have filler added back in it isn't going to change how we view you or your channel because we are here for your recipes, your gardening skills or just listening to the passion you have to have a better life for your family by growing and cooking your own food. I will be starting seeds in a couple months. The garlic is in there for this year though. Happy seeding! Oh and I love your seed organization in the binder, that is a fabulous Idea.
Amen to your life philosophy
Natasha, I have a question.. I see you putting a lot of seeds in each cell. Do you do this so that you have lots of seedlings? Also can you do a video on how you desperate the seedlings and repot them?
It's balance and real! That's why I love watching you!
Take your seedlings to church. They will disappear
Deep fry sweet potato chips covered in crushed cheetos. A whole balanced diet right there!!
I love your modern homestead, not all homesteads have to be the same or cookie cutter. I greatly appreciate you sharing and being real and raw. I gravitate to channels like that!! Your sweet and beautiful thank you for being you!! ❤
I think you still look AMAZING!! You look so much more natural!👍🏼. You don’t need much makeup. You are beautiful!
All I know is that I thought you looked incredible in this video and couldn't put my finger on it. Please do what brings you the most joy, but know that YOU are incredible!!
I love that your family is running a hobby farm. There are soo many youtubers who push this fearful gardening mindset and I dislike it so much. I grow because I enjoy it and the harvest is a bonus. I hope my farm gets to be as beautiful as yours one day. And your face is beautiful
You are so real, I love that about you.
