Aim Lab is a FPS training tool that has a ton of different tasks to train various types of aim. I have used it to get much better at mouse and keyboard after playing a ton of FPS games on console like Halo.

Aim Labs helps with FPS in the same way going to the gym helps with sports. You aren't going to magically learn how to play basketball by weight training but being stronger and more athletic helps a lot and makes you a better player once you develop proper skills.
The point of Aim Labs is to improve your physical tools like mouse movement, reflexes and raw aim but you have to practice in-game too. If you already have good mouse control, Aim Labs won't be that useful for you. A lot of people will just go do only Gridshot as fast as they can until their hand hurts and then complain about Aim Labs being a scam when they aren't improving. Training a lot doesn't help shit if you train without common sense.
Oh dude that's a perfect analogy. Brilliantly put.
So true, way to many tenz fan boys cream about grind shot so much. like there are so many more useful exercises.
It's like people who only run on treadmills as their exercise, expecting to deadlift 200kg
exactly, theres so many debates based on whether or not aim training is the best or the worst. in reality its not either, its just a tool that at the end of the day gives you a small stepping stone to improve.
Well said
For anyone who wants the aimlab trainings:-
- Hordeshot (flicking)
- Multiline trace (flicking)
- Strafeshot (tracking)
- Motionshot (flicking)
- Microflex (flicking)
- Anglehold (flicking)
- Sixshot (flicking)
Practice Smart!
Thanks man
Thx
tysm!
Give this man a raise!
looked in the comments hoping for this
Soooooo basically, "Aim Lab has more than Gridshot, scrubs"
I just wanna point out how cool it was to see Aim Lab courses cut or faded into Valorant gameplay. it shows how the training would be different and similar to real gameplay, its something i havent thought to much on because i warm up in valorants terrible DMs.
Aim lab 78k plat 3 to 105k immortal 1,5 month
top 0.1% precision in aimlabs here; use the precision headshot task and focus on getting near perfect accuracy. works pretty well for practicing keeping good crosshair placement
Aim labs rank mean barely anything
@@cydeYT my bad lol ill mention im an immortal valorant player next time
@@cydeYT It means a lot when they're using it as proof that they know how to use the program, dummy
@@stevendemayo3631 the ranks are mostly bugged, unpopular tasks that have less attempts than others usually end up giving you higher ratings despite not teaching you much
Wow that was really creative taking both gameplay and meshing them together. Looked really clean man!
Going to definitely try to implement some of these tasks into my daily routine instead of just Gridshot + Motiontrack
Try looking at ethos aimlabs warmup. It's really good and has helped me improve my aim tremendously.
it made me go from silver 3 hard to plat 3 86 elo, funny enough i already started doing these before this vid
@@sathvikreddy4880 Yeah aimlabs is great if you use it right.
breach lee absolutely terrifies me holyyy
I don't use aim trainers but rather hone my mechanical skills in-game against moving players. However this was a pretty interesting input and I feel that if you think somethings helping your aim, just continue it.
Will definitely implement some of those exercises from this video into my warm up routine. Thanks a lot🥰
This video is the prefect example for : Practices doesn't make perfection, perfect practice makes perfection ( forgot what word was it at. The end so I used "perfection" instead )
I was actually waiting for this👍🏻
Thanks men, great vid
Thanks for this. I randomly made a playlist but this order seems a lot more effective.
Ill try this out
love the videos, ive gotten so much better because of them, thanks for making them and thanks for your passion and talent for the game
THE FADING OVERLAPS ARE SO SATISFYING
bruh your videos finally got me out of gold and into plat keep doing good work.
Aim lab definitely makes me feel confident in my aim at least.
Very informative, such a well-made video!
The Aim Lab and Valorant overlays were litttt
Great insight and some great aimlab courses to better focus on. Appreciate it 🤙
Glad it was helpful!
I knew that Gridshot but fun but not that effective of a training scenario and I also suffered from over-training on inefficient training scenarios in the past and your previous Aimlabs video really helped me a lot. Not that I care about my rank in aimlabs but I started at Ruby 2 and went down to Ruby 4 after the mentioned over-training part. Then I watched your previous video and focused myself on the precision with a side of speed and that gradually increased my aiming capabilities. Now I am Emerald 4 and by playing the game and also watching your videos on game knowledge I became a much better player. So I want to thank you for your relatively short and very effective videos. You are by far my favorite Valorant content creator and I always look forward to seeing you upload. Keep up the great work
I also had the illusion of "I have to warm up my aim on aimlabs so I can properly play" but sometimes I didn't have the time for aimlabs but I realized that overall I just got better and it was less about the warmup and more about the gradual development of my aiming capabilities.
this video couldn't have come at a better time, just downloaded aimlab yesterday! as someone who recently started playing valorant, your channel has been super helpful and interesting. love the videos and appreciate the effort you put into them!
how is your progress now?
Yo these videos are actually so cool, am I ever going to be good enough to utilize any of this? No, but it's still cool to see lol
I can't freaking handle your wise words quotes in the start.
don't ever stop doing them LOL
Forget just being a Valorant coach, you can be an Aim Labs coach too at this rate
going to add some of these tasks to help with my inefficient movements with my mouse so hopefully i will get better overtime
I've only play aimlabs for a week or so and I already see some improvement, it's all about how you practice
thank you for the wonderful advice, master breach lee
Aim Labs helped my Raze/Jett tracking immensely. I used to whiff 90% of those, and I started using aimlabs and complained so much about the tracking, like "Why would I ever need this." then I hopped in a game with a Raze who loved to fly and I was able to track her 90% of the time.
New Aim Lab playlist being created : )
Personally I haven't used Aim Labs before, I normally practice within the games I play but I think I'll download it so I can train more specific aspects!
This vid is actually gooood!!
I subbed and I literally became TenZ. ty ascended.
I saw a vid of someone talking about the miyagi method which is nice for those that cant use aimlabs or idk
I dont like using aimlabs cuz i dont wanna open it so i got to the range and dm the way u introduced
mindset and the way you practice help a lot too, the dms in val are pretty bad but you could use that to practice killing a player but immediately expecting another player to peek you right after. just do it a few times if you want then use most of your time on aimlabs
good video as always
Right now i kinda have decent movement so i train my crosshair placement by doing wall peek, head shot and some valorant haven entry drills in aim lab.
I think it's not really about preparing me for a specific game or even specific scenario, but rather building muscle memory for aiming that I am missing because I never played a tactical shooter and shooters in general really.
Thank you for this! I saw your videos about aim training and it has helped alot
The question posed in the title is just NOT investigated AT ALL. The video was nice, I enjoyed the ideas it actually explored but having the title be a question that is never examined feels like clickbait.
I honestly don't use any external aim trainers and only rely on warm-ups in the range. This isn't inherently wrong but limits my training. I'm not good in general and I dont do deathmatch. I just wanna practice just hitting people. The tracking practice problem is fixed when changing the 30 players timed which is the standard to 100 or 50 infinite time. You don't need to download aim trainers but are great because they have a better arsenal and are more flexible. Great video and I'd love to see the creation of a video and how you pick a topic. Btw players like Red use the miagi method that use mainly the range. I'm not a really good player but it's an option for people who don't want to remove their storage for steam and aimlabs.
Bruh you need way more than 40k subs
Ron Rambo Kims aim lab practices are the best
I just recently started using aim labs and Kovakk so I will definitely be adding these to my list of routines to try.
been using aim labs for two week improved a lilll bit in using vandal but became a lot good in using op
for micro adjusting targets who hardly move, rA Minishot and rA Minishot XS is way better
Whats the song called that is running in the background? Im kinda curious
I've basically only ever touched gridshot LOL
can u make a playlist and upload it on steam of this routine
In op-ing it helps a lot
I have a habit of instantly opening scope and crouch when i see a enemy IN MID TO LONG RANGE
for example on ascent a ramps to coffee shop i open scope and crouch
idc for aimlabs bcz of this but nowadays im thinking to consider bcz of specter run and gun
in pistol round ppl use frenzy for run and gun
Gridshot is probably overall the best single task for improving overall aim, but I think it goes without saying it's not the only task. Kinda like how squats are probably the best lift for athletes, but an athlete would probably get worse at their sport if squats were the only way they trained.
Motionshot is my favorite
2:19 man moved his head irl to not get flashed
I just realized I do the same
So do you have a playlist?
seems you all love gridshot like me, do the precision gridshot not the ultimate one, i mean can do both but precision one is the best for accuracy
maybe it's time I try aim labs again
I'm just a sixshot main. In my ranks it's all that I need for now. Most of my enemies dont inplement movement so I'm shooting still, small targets. I am weak in tracking though so I occasionally do strafetrack but it's really not necessary at my current rank
Tracking practice is super underrated. There’s a bunch of good ones.
don't underestimate the way the other aspects of aim can help you. maybe you get to a better rank too :)
So in effect, an aim trainer is meant to improve your aim with these fun mini games, but you need to ask yourself what skills are being transferred from each task that can be applied to the actual game, Gridshot is nice but if you’re playing a game like Apex…how is that ever going to improve your tracking?
Don’t just use an aim trainer, use it efficiently
please make a playlist in aimlab and share it , please please
Somebody already did "Valorant Ascented Playlist"
Man all you had to do was add Goku to the mix and you got me doing all the training mentioned
Kakarot!!!!!
@@ValorantAscended ah I see you are Saiyan yourself XD
Give me a reaver vandal.
Just kidding but if you want to you can go on
i tried everything and I still have the art of whiffing mastered when-
*I WANNA FUCKING FORGET IT*
What about the Valorant specific aimlab tasks? They seem like they would probably help more than other tasks
They are okay. Would rather practice those scenarios in the actual game and leave muscle mechanics to the aim trainers personally. Whatever works for you though
why don't you add the playlist of the routine
Aim Lab is like going to the gym to train for a sport. It won't make you proficient at that sport, but it will make it easier to be proficient at that sport. That's what people don't get at all. They think that they should be able to aim like tenz after reaching 70k in gridshot without any training in valorant.
Sixshot is the best one, for training aim
i dont know if youve mentioned this yet but what rank are you?
Remember when cypher was on the thumbnail? #Stopcypherabuse
Now do one for kovaaks
gameplay vids and rank reveal?
For me, the range and dm work me. Just use the deagle
There are stuffs you can do in the range that have the same effects as Aim Lab exercises. Its just that it doesnt have the feedback or the precise sense of improvement that Aim Labs gives you
Everyone can practice to improve their aim, but the potentiality of how good you get is genetic. My half brother had close to elite genetics for the time frame nearly 20 years ago, and he was a top player in Unreal Gold a game from the late 1990's predating Unreal Tournament. That is their genetic potential shining over my practice lol. Within a year, he was already wrecking the whole 1v1 community with his rifle aim. After 15 years probably of PVP gaming, my aim sits dead even on the average scale. And it isn't going to go anywhere from there. I invested 5,000 hrs in Quake PVP, and I see people who can't hit the broadside of a barn turn pro aim in a year of practice. Their aim is only 5%-30% better at best, on an off day or a day where I am playing better its closer, but 5%-30% better aim matters more in games\gamemodes that are more aimbased anyways. Quake duel was always a heavily tactical\strategical game and the aim and mechanics could potentially put people over the hump if they were good at the mental aspects. Its simply not possible to get too much better at aiming if you already played a lot of FPS games, in fact it is unheard of.
So like, if you maybe started gaming with average aim... your potentiality could be higher than you actually think, even if you start with really bad aim... sometimes you have to just play a game long enough to find out. Aim Labs and Kovaaks are kind of unnecessary, but might help the speed you find your maximum. I squeezed out about as much pulp out of Kovaaks as I could, and I probably barely improved if any at all.
Do people not use kovaak anymore?
i try reactivetrack speed mode its help me alot to move my mouse faster
Idk if it’s just me but I got a huge spike in skill after going in aim labs but I suck at maintaining skill so then a few days later I went back to being worse 😔
I wanna ask you guys what rank are you on aimlab and what rank are you in valorant, im plat 3 on aim lab and iron 3 in valorant
I really love how you always question these fundamentals of gameplay to see if they really help, where other people probably just take for granted that gridshot and death match for example will always make you 10x better at the game.
yes it works but you have to do it in a right way
i usually play precision headshot and multi linetrace because i want to learn to flick while constantly keeping my crosshair on head level instead of curving it.
yeah same, my flick is curvy
i personally use kovaaks
Can someone summerize the routine he told .
Can someone tell me for how long I should be doing these?
I'm about to go 100g
why does my hand hurts more when j use aimlab compared to vakorant
Kinda, it helped me warm up and hit headshots better but thats it. Aimlabs doesn't really improve that much. I think death match is. My aim use to be terrible, but once I started playing deathmatch before a game, my aim slowly started to improve. Aimlabs is only good for headshotting and I think thats it
aim at 100% accuracy, the slowest possible, and you will improve.
I think deathmatch is a lot more useful than aim labs will ever be for improving not just aim but game sense, map knowledge, positioning, and awareness.
it depends if you have good game sense aim labs is deffinatly better at improveing the pure aim part
DM is worse if you want to practice ( too many campers) if you want to improve your game sense then play unrated
@@xHAMZA. well by game sense, DM can help you learn the maps better and know what to check, even if there are campers, what makes you think people wont be camping and holding those stupid angles in a real match? It makes you realize how to check a site as fast as possible and what to check.
i used it back in beta and it didn't help but i tried it again after hitting gold 1 and just needed to outaim people shot straight up to gold 3 in 6 games or something
I've found that every tier of play has different levels of aimers and so if you find yourself plateauing sometimes it's because your aim isnt good enough. Other time's it's other stuff and you just have to balance what you improve at
@@ValorantAscended that's really true, at different tiers you end up having to reinvent your playstyle to fit that elo or else the plateau happens
un saludo a godwell
How to control recoil?
Why do people only play gridshot?
Hoardshot
Linerartrace
Strafeshot
Motionshot
Microflex
Anglehold
Sixshot
How about kovaaks?
Yes
I use scattershot, ascent microflex, ascent headshot, microshot and sixshot. Gridshot is useless but good for warmup. U don't go around doing 360s body spraying people like in battle royales. Your aim training routine should focus more on making small microadjustments and DM for some god tier crosshair placement.
drip goku will help us in our aim training guys :D
Kamehameha
yes
Overall I think aim lab is a secondary option sir
Your first option is Kovaak's right?
@@d1zputed23 no, I don't use any aim training third party apps I like to use death match and range in valorant
Death match before and after games + plus the range will make your aim a lot more consistent in my experience.
Agree@@-alon3inhell792
Well, I do aimlabs and deathmatch everyday.
does it? idk
train smarter, not harder
