I remember team 3D from CAL-Invite! That's a throwback. I was in CAL-Intermediate because I wasn't nearly as good as those guys. Edit: I played from 1.1 until shortly after Source dropped
comfort is king. i stand on business when i say ron rambo kim ruined my mechanics for 8 straight months. as soon as i went back to my old comfortable posture, i had mouse control again.
i do agree comfort is king, but some things even if comfortable will hold you back. proper form for CERTAIN things will make you improve once you get used to it, but yeah ron gives bad advice on some things
Good advice, bro, my flicks become more controllable, but i need some time to adopt to this position, but its great advice i feel really comfortable at this position, even if i not totally adopt to it
I was having trouble getting kills in delta force. As soon as I changed my posture I won a 2v1. Someone of it is placebo effect but man the posture really does help. Thanks!
Thank you man, for the longest time i wanted to learn how to arm aim but it always felt super uncomfortable, with this tip i can now arm aim very easily, thank you so much!
When you feel comfortable playing that’s the best position for you, don’t copy others cause it might be uncomfortable for you which will reduce your accuracy
I'll say that your position affect your gameplay a lots. This position is kinda difficult to adopt but you'll feel your flick is is more controllable when you master this. I swear to God!
@@reasonableraisin3366are you surprised that majority of people around the world sits down and plays video games instead of shooting beer cans at trailer parks? Lmao
@@hapotus410 no? i never said that i was surprised by that, i just said that most videos are about how to get better aim in video games when I'm looking for videos to get better I'm in real life
The best way is when you don't think of your posture. That's where you're most comfortable, and that's your "best" position. Don't overcomplicate things, just play more, and that's it. All pro players have different posture, how far the monitor is. And it's all subjective, so as long as you're comfortable. Keep playing
Hi Ron.How are you?Im watching from Kazakhstan.I just want to say Im your fan.I remember your game against SK back in 2005.Even though 3d lost that was best game ever.
Interesting because I notice myself already doing this especially when I'm kinda slouched back in my chair playing CS and when I have to "lock in" I situp and lean forward to get closer to the monitor and focus better which puts my elbow and arm in this same exact position but otherwise I really had no idea this would affect aim
I was playing rivals and I messed every shot😂 and this helped so much And for those that don’t know what rivals is aka RIVALS it is in Roblox shooting game that is now more popular the Arsenals 😮
my table and my chair actually COMPLETELY PREVENT me from doing this at all. My table is too low and my chair is too high. The arm rest gets in the way and my mouse pad is too far.
Its not the same for everyone. Im more accurate arm almost fully extended with a slight bend in the elbow horizontally. Head shots all day on any game as long as i can get the feel for the game. Find what works for you as an individual for mouse and keyboard. For controller, use aim assist, mash strafe side to side to make aim assist catch on to the target repeatedly and do more work for you, as well as let off the aim down site button whenever the recoil gets to bounce to much and instantly push back down on it, almost in an instant, to reduce recoil. Take advantage of whatever mechanics you can in whatever game.
Mmm yes I also like only turning 45 degrees every time I swipe because I’m using T-Rex arms and killing my range of motion. Also wouldn’t you have to be conscious of tucking your elbows in at all times in order to not go to an actual comfortable spot w your elbows.
Hi Rambo I have been struggling to find the right desk height, I have neck pain every day. I am 6 foot 1 inch and I play at 68.6 cm height desk with a herman miller chain, I have to be doing something wrong with my set up, I recently got a new standing desk which allowed me to control the height but i can’t figure it out
sounds good but wouldn't this be counterintuitive when having to aim wider since It would limit you to just using your arm and wrist for aiming rather than also having your shoulder engaged for more control?
How close to the desk should I be? My elbow joint is literally 1 inch from my thighs while sitting. I’m a fucking gorilla 🦍. How can I have good posture for health AND aiming like this? Anyone that can help, I would pay you. I’ve been trying to figure out this problem for years. Spent thousands. I’m great at aiming but I know my posture could take me to the next level.
Take your game to the next level through my masterclass videos and weekly training sessions:

I got a lesson from you when you were on 3D back in the 1.6 days. This was probably close to 20 years ago. It’s awesome that you’re still doing it!

Maybe the haircut is the key to good aim 🤔

My body is not capable of focusing when I lay back and sit in a relaxed position. If and u can do it then that's good for u. 😅

I’m short as hell so I put three pillows on my chair so I can actually reach the desk
me too i'm gonna buy a new chair so i don't have to do this anymore
I didnt think this was going to help me very much but it helped me keep my crosshair at head level alot more consistently ❤

personally for me i get most of my aim by gripping the mouse as light as possible without losing the grip of course
I totally agree with you on this one. ❤ Thanks for great advice 😃

Great channel.... It also helps that I used to watch "demos" of this guy on team 3D back in college.
best coach thx for all things
Super true, weirdly so even on controller
Wouldn’t this technique put strain on the ulnar nerve (near the elbow) and potentially lead to injuries in the long run?

I tried this in the firing range omg this has helped me so much.. I can two clip those red evo dummies
I do that actually ever since I started playing Competitive FPS.
i’m too short and there’s no lower tables that let me do this :(
even if i had a chair high enough, my feet will dangle and get numb
get a footstool :D

I've known about this but I'm not able to actually put it into practice due to my super weird desk, I have to extend my elbows to reach my peripherals
i try to close my eyes, and then i hear sykkuno
OK, i'll try it and give you feedback
It just all clicked to me now laying in my bed, I have my seat too low fat too low. 😅 so embarrassing getting turned on with my windy aim
I am not even close to this and it’s impossible with how far to the right my mousepad needs to be
i’m getting sykkuno’s cool older brother vibes
😆
i didnt really believe it, but in aimpro i broke my highscore by a lot for the first time
wtf is aimpro lol
rip long arms dudes
my table and my chair actually COMPLETELY PREVENT me from doing this at all. My table is too low and my chair is too high. The arm rest gets in the way and my mouse pad is too far.
My desk is too high to do this and my chair is at max height ):
Yeah well unfortunately i physically can't manage that because my desk is too high and my chair is slightly to low
Exactly most m&k players lift their whole arm up or just move their wrist
It's very uncomfortable but helps massively. Idk how pros keep this up for hours lol.
they actually work out lol
I didn’t even realize my posture was that bad
My arms are too short for this. My elbows won't go low enough
Get a taller desk bruh
It seems a too stuck position but the mouse it's more manageable I'll try
this is so pro

never knew minecraft was a fps game
does this apply to people who aim with their wrist?
I saw in the video that you were aiming with your entire forearm, and for me i only use my wrist.
i could immediately feel the difference what the heck
My elbow is to close to my hip so there is no table that could let me do that lol
Huh, so thats why I cant aim, my desk is a foot above my elbow...
this is a good tutorial but its not consistent, any fixes?

you can rest it on the chair right ??
