Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Depp's witness today (day 111) that is affiliated with the ACLU realy drove that point home. .
His testimony and emails entered into evidence proved not only was the op-ed about Amber, but they kept having to revise it to avoid violating the NDA signed when they divorced .
Even after those revisions iys still obvious to a reasonable person that publication was about Depp.

This trial could set a really important precedent. If you make false accusations, then there will be consequences. I hope Jonny wins and sues her for all she's worth. Amber's lawyer is already mud slinging in the opener. I hope the Jury is smart and sees right through their bs.

@@itsKalinko If you’re referring to when they were asking if his friend thought he was “beholden” to Johnny for allowing him to live rent-free, that actually benefited Johnny’s case I think because it shone a light on his friend’s attitude regarding whether he was taking the stand to defend Johnny because he thought he owed him or he was taking the stand as a friend who truly cares about the truth and how it affected his friend to have been accused of such a lie. He showed the latter.
Knowing very little of the case and having only watched a few minutes of each opening statement the first thing that strikes me is that Amber Heard seems to be constantly trying to sell a message with her demeanour. She looks dishonest and guilty to me. Interesting.

He does not have any stern expression in his face and seems ver calm about the whole matter. Listening to that man droning on and on is really difficult at times. People who were in the Courtroom must have struggled listening to his incessant remarks. During all this trial, Amber and her lawyers were the ones who threw mudsling and over the top declarations. They tried to project on Johnny and his team exactly what they did during the trial. They had nothing to back up their claims against Johnny and they were exposed internationally in Court, on TV, and on social media, And while reading this article, it is clear that Amber spoke about Johnny Depp. In fact, that has always been what she has been doing since 2016, claiming to be a victim. People who still believe her either did not watch the trial or do their research properly, or they hold a life long grudge on Johnny Depp.
