I love what you're doing keep it up ! haha Actually you'll be surprised by this but actually it's so cheap in comparison to many countries the amount we pay for the faculty which is a governmental corporation doesn't exceed 100 dollars per year It's different if you want other paths or a private school or even an international universities which can cost more than 10 thousand dollars per year I know this is mind blowing !!😂 But that's beside that the we the students pay for our armamentarium which is also due to a lot of factors in the country doesn't cost more than 2000 dollars a year!!! "Not that great quality tho " You should be surprised by this but you shouldn't imagine that our education is of low quality .. most of our graduates are of a high skill despite the low grade facilities and the possibilities available for us ..but with few exams such as the board and stuff they can resume their education and practice dentistry at any place in the world Hope you got a bit of an image Good luck to you
Congratulations on your repayments!! But just curious to know if you are in school now, what is your source of income for the payments you have been making? Thanks
Thank you! Yes I’m still in my 4th year of dental school. I used to receive an income from the Navy but since I’m no longer doing that route my only “income” is from federal student loans.
I am a 1999 graduate from this terrible place. To any undergrads watching.....DO NOT go to dental school if you have to take out more than $25,000 per year to attend. You will ruin your life. Dentistry has changed, markedly, for the worse over the last 10 years. I was a successful general dentist in spite of....not because of.....USC. All overpriced dental schools are the same, however. You won't listen; but you should do something else with your life. 100% of the graduates (all 30 of them) since 2013 that I have worked with and trained are borderline depressed and lost....especially the female dentists that haven't already quit. USC seems to prey upon first generation college grads and/or first generation dentists. You will ruin your life if you go into 6 figure debt to be a dentist.
Hello! You can find out more by doing a google search. I recommend you apply for the HPSP as well. I was able to apply for both using the same application that my recruiter provided me with. Here is a link I found: navalofficerrecruiter.com/navy-hscp-health-services-collegiate-program/
Hello! It depends on where you live and how much you work. If you own a practice you will usually make way more. I just googled the average dental salary for a dentist in California and the number was around $150K. That’s just the average so some dentist make way more and some make less.
That's great !! good for you ..
I'm also a 3rd year dental student in Egypt
Thanks for coming on here! How expensive is dental school in Egypt?
I love what you're doing keep it up !
