I was in a used books/music store in Nashville called McKay's Books. They have comics of all types there, and I was searching through one of the boxes and found Batman Adventures #12 for $2. I also found the original first three issues of the 1977 Star Wars series for roughly $12 total. I still have the Star Wars issues, but I put the BA #12 on ebay and sold it for $350.

Very nice score. I have issue myself and that reminds me I should fine it to be graded too. Right with walking dead issue 1-5. They are somewhere in my collection. Got a lot comic boxes. Those who don't know harley didn't start in comics but animated series.

Huge score, and you're right even disregarding grade that's probably the most valuable comic you could've gotten out of any of the boxes.
See that’s not really Harley Quinn’s first appearance. She first appeared in Batman: The Animated Series with the episode being titled Joker’s Favor. That’s her first Comic appearance. She was so popular that DC decided to adapt her from tv to comics rather than the usual comic to tv

Well if you do include Manga as comic books then yeah I seen a comic book opening. Mangas are basically a Japanese comics. But as of American comic books or European, then that's something I never seen. Anyways do the follow up on the Graded version of the Batgirl.

btw you are aware that most companies, when packaging only put peanuts, paper, bubbles, etc on the top. and the bottom has no protection. This means they are not actually protecting anything :-(
SHIT!!!!! I watch this vid and run "Harley Quinn 1st Appearance" through GOOGLE afterwards. It's not a BATGIRL comic (which I would never have gotten), It's "The Batman Adventures" #12. I paused and ran to my comic book collection. I find the box which has my early TBA books in it and bring it in to my computer. I find them and go through... There's TBA #10... then Annual #1... then... NO!!!! I must have stopped at that point. If I'd just kept collecting for another 2 months I'd have had that issue...... GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
Those boxes seem awesome, congrats on the grail. I would try and sell that before the new movie comes out and it sucks. Also get it signed by the girl from Big Bang or Margo Robbie or or the original terry strong, get that value up.

NO, never restore such a new comic
@@FranchiseKicks it's not classed as restoration. You would still get a blue label cgc and it can increase the grade. Press even modern books from the last couple years. But you do what you thinks best Sir. I just want to see it get the 9.8 :)

Just as a heads unless the pages of the Batman adventures pages are white that book will not grade higher then an 8.5 not trying to be a hater here but that book isn't exactly a tough sell.
