I’d resist putting that final nail in the shingle so close to the valley. Double nail the shingle out at the edge of the tin, second nail an inch from the top of the shingle. If you’re not weaving, you really want to try to avoid any penetrations through that valley tin except on the outer edge. The tar will hold the last 6” of shingle to the tin as well as a nail. That valley flashing will have a lot of water flow.
Worry about your safety over us seeing what your doing Jim. If you get a camera set up, awsome, if not just show us what you did after. Great job your doing!
Jim, I have always wondered if Jolene helped you get started with your channel, she seems like a very nice woman. She is pretty, smart, kind, and seems like she would be a great friend, Chads a very lucky man .
How do you like being an internet superstar Jim? You just keep pecking away, and get er done, a great testimate to the old adage , even the longest trip, begins with the first step. I enjoy watching you work through problems the old fashioned way. "and without a bunch of swearing ,lol" just be sure kitty cat isn't down there when you toss something over. I'm sure you check , your a good buddy to him.
Super job Jimbo!
Looking good Jimbo! 😉✌

You should have weaved the valley. It won't leak for a while hopefully. But it will sooner then later
cut the points off on the top of the shingle keeps water from running back
