Graziano hasn't yet learnt that you don't show off EVERYTHING you can do because it really shows up your celeb. You've sort of got to tamp it down a bit. Vic wasn't as bad as her marks, but Graziano showed her up by showing off. Sad.
you forgetting Graziano is new its his first time let him live he may do better next week
I never get why they add quicksteps charlestons sambas and jives in the first few weeks. just NO! It's a regular problem with the new pros, I think they think they've got something to prove and come out all guns blazing, when really you've got to make your celeb look her/his best.

To be fair to graziano, all (or the majority of) pros get told off at least once for making it all about them. Least he's learning that week 1. Sure there's great things to come...

Graziano’s choreography needs work. I felt that while she has potential, he’s not showcasing her to the best of her ability. His timing was off too for the jive. She was actually more on time.

Some dancers are better at dancing and some are better at making choreography and then some can do both. So I completely agree.
I was looking forward to this when I found out they were doing this song, perfect for the jive! But this looked awkward and messy in parts

Graziano please let this experience be about your dancing partner... and not you! Also choreograpy could be better but Vicki coped with what she had to offer..
Wish Vick was given a different partner, someone who’s been on the show before. She obviously has lots of potential and good moves (those splits!) but Graziano doesn’t really know he needs to show her off
She’s got a lot of potential but I think Graziano chose quite a difficult and fast choreography for her to do, especially since it’s week 1 !
Vick hope sticks her finger in a SawStop™ equipped table saw. The blade instantaneously snaps downward, wrecking the saw and saving Vick from a trip to accident and emergency. She wants to raise awareness of the risks of saws and how to prevent accidents from happening. A saw kick-back happens when the material being cut catches on the blade and is propelled at high velocity, posing a risk.

Very promising beginning, the song choice suited them, the number had a big jive content. On the negative side, there was no hip rotation during the jive chasses, she didn't straight her legs, it wasn't bouncy at all, it was a little bit heavy, she couldn't handle with speed of the dance, but what disappointed me the most was the fact that they absolutely didn't show any chemistry. 99% of the dace wasn't in open \ closed hold but side by side... A 5.
Enjoyed the first show ,not keen on Graziano seems a bit of a show off would prefer the guy called Labe to be one of the professionels he was fantastic ,And I think it's about time Anton was given the Bums rush as he's turning into a bit of a caricature .
I liked the new pro joannas (I'm not sure if I spelt his name correctly) that did the Havana dance with that new girl pro Luba and ofc graziano I was hoping he was gonna be a main pro coz I loved his moves I was like woooo move those snake hip Mr sexy lol
It's Johannes and yes, I think he would be a bit better since he was a pro on the South Africa shows. Luba has been a background dancer here for a couple years so she and Johannes will probably have roles similar to Chloe and Neil.

Vick is gorgeous
They didn't look like a team at all. Him jumping and twirling around her was really distracting which is a shame as she clearly has potential. This could've been such a fun routine..
I didn't notice it the first time I watched because I was looking mostly at Vick but after Craig's comments I do understand where he's coming from... I'm not complaning though

She's got loads of potential- I really like her arms and she can totally sell a dance. Graziano's now got to really get to work on polishing the basic moves or else she'll get lost amongst the other pretty women who are also good and likely to improve fast.
Maybe she did this better in rehearsals! He was very flashy for himself which took the spot light of her (the celeb!) She was way too deep by the knee for a jive! It didn't really look like a jive but can't knock her energy and the effort!
I really liked this I thought they should have gotten better scores , vick looked confident and happy doing this 🙂😊

I think that she has potential and you could clearly see the effort she put in but I feel this choreography was too difficult for her. It seemed to be all about the pro rather than the celebrity.
I was watching Richard Osman's House of Games and she was on, first time I'd seen her, she is a seriously beautiful looking lady!
The beginning was good from Vicki especially the chicken walks but this Graziano fella didn’t dance on time at all. She has the potential to be better if only the choreography matched her skill level and not his! 5 from me
Listen everyone yall keep forgetting Graziano is new to the show its his first time choreographing like let him live not all first time professionals do well choreographing for they first time
From the get-go, I felt like he was making it WAY too much about himself -- then I read the other comments and most agree, lol. Maybe he was nervous, as it's his first time on his first season (ADRENALINE) because he was sloppy and off. Vick seems like she has a lot of potential.
I thought at the end there was going to be an ed balls and Katya Jones gangnam style when Graziano went over Vick lol 😂
100% the Graziano show here, really let his celeb down. She has tonnes of potential but he made it all about him and his wet look gel. Such a shame

I'm remaining hopeful that he'll learn to tone it down. Nadiya had the same problem last year overshadowing Davood for several weeks but she eventually calmed down and created some beautiful dances with him, now I want her and her standard ballroom choreography over here in the States :D

Choreography wasn't great. I feel like she could be really great but I'm not sure about her partner. Her dancing wasn't bad, could be a little sharper but I don't think she's to blame ...

The Start was Good and towards the Middle got a bit boring
And Repeditive! The Potential is there! It just needs to show a bit

This jive needs work but she does av potential and I can't wait to see her develop on tha and hopefully improve on week 2 but I av to say she got threw the routine and I liked the cat walk she did it was impressive so for me it's a 5 for me

I think we should all give Graziano a break, if Craig didn’t say anything about “showcasing himself” then no one would have even noticed coz personally I think he showed her off a lot in this dance. It’s only the first dance, chill
Admittedly I'm predisposed to dislike Graziano as I feel like he took a spot that should have been Neil's, but even that being said I think it's like he doesn't understand that he's meant to show his partner off and ya know, teach her. Not just do a million spins and twirls and jumps and act like the prize pony at a county fair.
This was underscored this was tight and mostly clean i feel like Vick didnt even mess up but shes need work on how to place her hands and not on her hips, and work on to be light on her feet and because she wasnt made her go off balance a little bit and lost flow and the choreography was good but didnt really showcase vick

I was really looking forward to this dance and ended up being disappointed. Vick did her best but Graziano was just a little too present. I actually agreed with Craig.......and that doesnt happen often.

Criminally undermarked as she has great kicks and flicks and she looked like she thought she was amazing and great kicks and flicks and fun like a jive should be but I'm not sure about that move at the end *6/10*

This would have been better had it not been centred so much round Graziano. If he was to tone it down and give her less complex choreo, I'm sure they could do way better ❤

graziano is already on my nerves... overconfident when he was off time, his choreo showcasing his own abilities more. feel sorry for vick because she has potential but other professionals could really bring it out way more. and it’s not excuse that he’s new, he’s a professional dancer + look at giovanni’s first dance which was also a jive, so much better!

I understand being addicted to dancing and how happy it can make a person. Sometimes one just goes over-the-top with their moves and it looks like they're trying too hard. The only suggestion I have is to control his facial expressions. To often have your mouth open in the WOW look, needs to be toned down a lot.

Vick was more on time than he was and for a professional dancer his choreography was very poor as it was all about him when he should have been showing his partner off. The bosses definitely picked the wrong pro from the 3 newbies. The south African guy would have done a far better job. I think Vick could have won the show but with him as her partner I predict a very early exit.

I'm not gonna lie. I was quite disappointed with Vick tonight, and I was expecting her to be really good.
Her posture was all wrong for a jive; she was too loose and floppy. If she works on the technique she has potential

Hated the choreography, Vick has some obvious natural dance ability but he clearly doesn't know yet how to teach or how to create a routine that shows off the best of what she can do, not what he can do... Not a fan of him so far, he's like a poundland version of Gleb.

Dance moves are just that- moves. That get used by lots of dancers.
Oh dear. Timing and retraction completely out of sync, movement not as natural as I was expecting from her. Heavy and flat footed. But as nearly every one else has said the biggest issue is the choreography and the chemistry. So much work to be done but she could be great 3/10
Unfortunately, I really don't like Graziano. Even though it was his first dance, I felt that he was using Vick as his glamorous assistant, as it were. Actual jive was lacking. 5 from me.

I'm sorry but when is he off time? Frankly I think the marks were very fair, her action through the kicks was wrong, her chasses were way too low in the knees and her posture was all wrong. Not to say she can't improve but compared to the other celebs she's low in the pack
Graziano is so far up his own backside it’s unreal. It’s not all about you mate, so stop posing and prancing and concentrate on your partner - going over the top and it’s affecting the performance.

sorry but this is disappointing , he was off time !! i know Graziano from BTF and i know he can dance very well but this was poor . The choreo was awful , i feel bad for Vic as she seems a really sweet person.
