This is How They Treat You in Cambodia!
In this video I took a night bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.
To look for the bus ticket I went to Central market in Phnom Penh. Walking around the market I found some food to eat. I found a unique dish. I was kind of pancake with some bean sprouts , onions and some meat. Also seller add some sauce and chili. It was very delicious.
Then I asked some people if they know where to buy bus ticket to Siem Reap. First couple guys where offering me a tuk tuk ride somewhere, but I was not sure where they want to take me. Then one more guy came by and take me to some drivers, but they were driving cars, not buses. Later he took me to bus tiket office near central market. I paid $18 for a night sleeper bus. I was expecting the bus to be a little luxury for this kind of price. But it turned out it was the cheapest sleeper bus. Basically the guy from ticket office over charge me. Or scammed. Also he said I will arrive in Siem Reap about 5am. But 2am bus was already in Siem Reap.
Then I went to buy energy drink, talked with the shop staff across the road a little. He said that this bus ticket should cost around $7 or max $10. Then he asked tuk tuk driver near by to take me to my wanted location. Driver took me to the Guest house. Guest house was full, so I had to wait till the late morning to check in. At night I slept on a wooden bed in the lounge area.
In the morning I woke up and headed to find a coffee straight away. just a few minutes away I found a nice little shop that was selling soft drinks and some doughnut. I had a nice cup of iced coffee and a chocolate doughnut. After that I headed back to guesthouse to wait for my check in time.
