First of all, I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the good Cambodian people that stopped and gave me a lift. It was an amazing experience to meet all these kind and friendly people with the heart of gold.
Secondly, This is my biggest ever project that I've done so far. I hitch hiked from Siem Riep to Phnom Penh in Two days. I stopped in 5 different cities, had a lot food, some drinks and amazing adventure on the way.

Very cool & unique video keep vloging like that it makes your videos better & unique try to counter act more with the locals & country side ppl like that your showing what the country really looks like when you go to them not just the same as other vlogers do! Which is only the tourism areas also I believe if the ones who speak English!? I am trying to stay away from touristy areas. It’s more interesting to meet the locals. Even in the big cities I try to find some places where tourist might mot know about it. Thank you for your suggestions. 🙏❤️🇰🇭

It was a challenge, I have never tried to hitchhike before. This video shows how generous are Cambodian people, and I hope many people who have different thoughts about Cambodia, will think more positive from now on.

$15 a night guesthouse in Cambodia, look like a $150-$200 a night motel in the U.S.
Prices in US super high 😅. It was a nice hotel there in Cambodia.
Tok tok said it cost $1=4,000 riel (Cambodian currency) so he didn’t over charge you. He didn’t ask for tips neither.

Oh really? I thought it looked like bamboo that people make sticky rice. I did not think they also sell sticky rice there. I could’ve stopped and buy if I knew it 😅

Hitch hiking like you did is very strange for Cambodian custom. Usually, you have to wave hand as the sign needs help. That how the kid did for you. That van is commercial taxi. But since you don't have money, they gave you a free ride. Normally, you go to the bus station and tell them you don't have money and some buses will give you a ride for free.
I guess I was quite lucky then. I think when I had sign it was more understandable where I want to go. I could not wave hand because other hand was busy holding camera 😁
@@MrABroad You can wave the sign in your hand (just enough to attract their attention "see the kid hand when he wanted traffic to stop") but not all the times. You wave only when you see the upcoming traffic you want their assistance.

I Hitch-hiked in Thailand already. And have a video about it as well. But it was not a very long Hitch-hike. But what I can say, that people from both countries are very kind. Respect for both countries ❤️✌️
