- This festival is supposed to be nice. But because of the amount of people that came there, everything was too much. But I loved it, because it was a new experience that I wanted to seee it with my own eyes.

You guys all say the extremes. It's definitely different now, comparing to 20-30 years ago. Many people in Saigon are able to travel oversea, mainly to the neighbor countries such as Cambodia and Thailand where the cost to travel is low. But out of 10 millions people in Saigon, how many of them are able to travel out of the countries? Perhaps 2 or 3 millions top. The rest 70- 80% of them haven't/ wouldn't have a chance to get travelling abroad by planes in their lives, like the poor people who appear in this video clips. With the average income of 6 mil vnd/ month, that's barely enough to cover daily expense. People in small VN towns even have less chance to travel comparing to people in SG.
If you live in a circle of VN people with decent income, you can see many people have been travelled. Yet comparing to the people who live behind in poverty, people who sell lotto tickets, street vendors,... rich people are still a small portion in VN.
