Thank you for this. The power steering hose just went bad on my ‘02 type S and a review was left on a replacement part online at my local Auto Zone where the person recommend this instead. Glad I could get a second opinion.

Hey man great vid I'm trying to do the same. Just got my k series hose in and the aluminum fitting seems to be the wrong size on the steering rack connection? I ordered the one for 06 type S so I'm lost. Gonna try to find some other fittings to fit with connection

@@JL_MotorSports drain it and flush it out with new Honda fluid. Had success with Amsoil synthetic for the transmission. But Hondas like Honda oil.

@@JL_MotorSports you have to get the car in the air and take the cap off the reservoir , that's just air still in the system. You know you got it when you can leave the cap off and start the car, go side to side, and the fluid is flat in the canister..no froth or bubbles left. The fram fluid/honda fluid stuff is ok. See my channel i just did a vid on this.

Did you have any issues or notice difference because there is no pressure switch plugged in?

No issues. No check engine light. No fault codes.

You can also get a sensor port fitting with the K-tuned line. It will allow you to screw back in the sensor. Raceflux has a few options depending on your DC5 Type S, 02-04 = -6AN and 05-06 = -8AN.

Hey did you get rid of the noise or still doing it. I know when I look to get a tuck hose it mentioned something about it? Thanks in advance

    • @JL_MotorSports

The new hose didn’t cause the noise. It was already doing that. I had a clogged rack and pinion
