Split emerged from a settlement around Diocletian´s palace, who was an important Roman imperator. Now, this city counts over 200 000 inhabitants and is often seen as a transport hub with great ferry, bus, air and even train links.
If you travel through Croatia, you will end up in Split on some point of your journey, for sure. In this case be sure to see the old town around the Diocletian´s palace, climb up on the top of the bell tower of St. Dominus Cathedral and explore the inside of this old church, make a stop at the Croatian National Theatre and the Ivan Mestrovic Gallery, enjoy the panoramic view over old town Split from Marjan hill, take a walk at the Riva and explore the harbour, the Grgur Ninski statue at the Golden Gate of the old town is also worth a visit and a lot more. All of them a part of this video.

Da,tako kažu oni koji nisu makli dalje od svog sela,pa samo u Italiji ima bar 50 gradova lijepših od Splita bez uvrede al svakom je njegovo selo the best na svitu..mali savjet Odi u St Petersburg(Russija) prekrasan grad koji je pun pozlacenih fontana i koji broji 5/6 mil. stanovnika..pozz

Divan je grad stvarno nemojte zaobilaziti Dioklecijanovu Palatu! neverovatno istorijsko očuvanje :) Da li je neko bio na ostrvu Biševo? Kakvi su utisci?
Biševo je jako malo i slatko, uglavnom se prosece otokom, na vrhu je jedno polunapusteno simpa selo...no moram pohvaliti restoran koji se nalazi na straznjoj strani otoka...odlicna klopa i domacini koji su nam i otpjevali par dalmatinskih + pored je lijepa plaza i moze se okupati

I like this video, but it should contain more than just sights you can see in the center of the city, there should be a bit of everything- beaches, parks, night-life, streets, coffee places... I'm really sad you left out Marjan which is definitely one of the most beautiful places here. .
