I'm with you. If a family can prove that their grand or great-grand were actually a slave, then they deserve payment from the entity that profited off of slavery. We have bill of sales from the 1800s, insurance records and family records that point to modern companies and families that grew on the backs of slave labor.
Daniel Smith, a son of a slave died in 2022. That man should have been paid in full for his fathers unpaid work. Me? Since my great-grandfather wasn't a slave and can't trace my great-great-grand parents with absolute precision, I don't expect anything.

I appreciate how the brotha Anton give an example of good to others who come from the same place. It is easy to understand both sides of this debate. However, one thing remains true in any struggle. When someone is pitching for their people that have been wronged, you stand down. We are the only people that eat our own. If this brotha wanna carry on that fight, then allow him to do it. No other group of people earned it more. I don't think no one should wait around for it to happen but I will never stop someone going after it. Either support or, at the bare minimum, allow these folks to cook without being tore down from their own. That is one of our true issues. That and the culture is trash. If it were up to me and I didn't believe in the most high, I'd line all the Sookis, sexy Redds, young thugs, lil Uzi verts, etc. would be lined up and taken out.
