This is my CHILDHOOD holy shit. I've been trying to tell people about this game for over 30 years and no one's ever heard of it. This is my favorite TAS video, hands down.
Because it is composed by Yuzo Koshiro, a teenager at the time. He also composed soundtracks for Streets of Rage 1, 2, & 3, Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Master System and many other retro and modern console games.
Addendum: I would like to see a 100% run at some point, of all chests and maybe 1 of each item (maybe not health/magic potions from stores, since that gold should be used for something special like the shield.)
@@Baximus I'm planning a 100% chests, 100% kills run (every enemy spawn point killed at least once during the run), and will further have each character get their own crown so all 5 are used. Getting all the chests supplies every item but the shield, so that would be the only one bought from a store.
@@LordTom77 I actually forgot you can get one of every item from chests, I forgot the magic key was found that way. I'm looking forward to it! Edit: Oh no, I just realized 100% kills means going into all the useless side rooms. The planning is going to be hell.
I played this game as a kid and it used to piss me off to end because it was a trade and it didn't come with instructions. Watching this game get aced is...just wow.

For anyone unaware, this is the series that eventually spawned "The Legend of Heroes" series of games.
Yup, spinoff of DraSle VI, which remains one of Falcom's most recognized franchises to date.
I never heard about this game, it was very ambitious for it's time.

I could come close, but I couldn't ever beat the last of the 4 bosses to get to the final boss. I had to use a cheat code!
Yeah as a person that has played this game when it was released this video is amazing to me.

no, only the mother (using the wings) can pass through the single-block tunnels with spikes in them toward the end of her area
