  • This is a tool-assisted speedrun. For more information, see tasvideos.org/2273M.html. TAS originally published on 2013-01-18.
    Jason's pet frog escaped and got into some radioactive material underground. Naturally, there's a tank handy and Jason's first reaction is to go after his frog.
    BrotherMojo improves the previous movie by 2:43.86 (9,848 Frames @60.098813897441 FPS) using better routes and more glitches. More information in Submission notes (tasvideos.org/3804S.html)

    Ok, spinning around while throwing grenades at the end was hilarious.

    That ending music gets me every time. Back in the day, the struggle was real. It's truly poetic seeing the movement tech going on, the absolute dominance, the little flairs, the emoting. It all makes for a very enjoyable run to watch. Well done!

    "The Jason is _grounded!_ We had those grenades installed so you could kill the bosses and rescue your mutant frog friend, _not_ so you could throw boss fight raves!"

    I played this and maybe got to the third area before I kept dying. Never heard the end music until I watched a playthrough of this game. Best part of the ending is Jason gets to keep the vehicle. I hope someone creates a vehicle mod for GTA of this vehicle.

    It is nice to see a character I recognize in their original game. The game I played was a flash game called Super Mario Crossover... And something else idk. Although it was on a game site where games you played had hacks just for fun.
    It is both entertaining and sad to see a TAS violate a game to it's absolute most, but who am I anyway?

    Would have never made it to the end without Game Genie. Yes, I know, "cheating", but we needed to see the end of the game and back then, that was the only way to do it unless you could conquer the game itself.

    When does the TAS part start? I only see normal gameplay. 🤔

    • @crudmuffin64
      @crudmuffin64 Год назад +1

      TAS stands for "tool assisted speedrun", basically they slowed the game down and manually inputted specific actions on every frame of the game running to make a theoretically "perfect" playthrough. So to answer your question, the TAS part was the whole playthrough. There are a lot of tricks that aren't easy or even possible at normal speed.

    Wait a minute, I though if you Game Over you start ALL THE WAY back to the beginning of the game.
    What version was I playing when I was little?

    • @xyan07
      @xyan07 3 года назад +1

      When you get game over you start at the beginning of the area you died. If you died in area 1 before getting to area 2 it will drop off the same way as it does on the beginning

    • @generaljimmies3429
      @generaljimmies3429 3 года назад +1

      @@xyan07 Huh, I must have got a different version of the game.
      If I got to Area 7 and died on my last life the game would start over from the beginning of the game.
      I'll check and see if there are any regions that have this version.
      Either that or Game Genie was active.
