The owners of the cars aren’t “usually unable to finance the restoration”. They get nominated by friends/family because they had personal tragedy or poor heath befall them!
How did this channel get the whole ethos of Car SOS wrong? It has only ever been about helping someone who has suffered, and is still suffering, from some awful illness or injury. It has never been about money.
@@petedraper5185 maybe some people just don't get the concept of empathy. It's always about finances with them. Here's some money and it's all fixed. All these cars a a symbol of survival to the owners and families. It's not a car show, it's a show about people with cars.
A little homework wouldn't have gone amiss here. Fuzz was drummer in Pop will eat itself for years, thats where most people in the uk know him from. Also I was suprised to learn of the new porsche 365.......must be rare!!
It's an awesome show, with genuine people. The 'opposite sides' part is usually a good recipe in any show, i don't know why producers are hesitant of using opposite personalities. I only wish there was a similar show, but preferably with Tim and Fuzz, but for motorcycles. Not to customise them but to restore them like they do with the cars.
I would like to see a reveal where the owner just goes to the garage and finds a restored car rather than the pile of junk they think is in there with no people around. Just hidden cameras.
The Porsche 365, Austin Healy Zubbring and AC Azeeeza are my favorites. Always nice when click bait crap like this video are put together by people who really know the material they're featuring.
When they took a aston martin db6 from a large house while the owner was going to the far east as an oil consultant for three months I've often wondered where the car went, and if sold did he pay back the restoration costs? Seemed a bit of a con to me.
@@denseljosephs9500 I was pretty disgusted to be honest. Much rather of seen an old cortina or humber from a poor bloke in Rochdale getting his car fixed.
What a great car show at least they do not destroy like the yank car shows i would like to see a yank car show that they just restore a car I forgot about wheeler dealers that was a british car show shot in the USA
The Beat has had a few Drummer/basists. The original ones made a fortune as part of Fine Young Cannibals and retired, so The Beat first borrowed the Specials rhythm section, but they were busy of late (The Specials getting back together) and so Fuzz has played with them (Having been a friend of the late Ranking Roger for years).

Car SOS is pure theatre and very short on the important detail as to what they do to achieve the final results unfortunately. There is also a lot of alleged talk in the trade about the truth of the so called deadlines are realised and whether the reality differs from the theatre!
I used to think the same but over the years he has grown on me. I think he is naturally an annoying type of person and I am sure most of us have one of those in our lives. Him and Fuzz do seem to genuinely care about the cars and often the owners who are getting their cars restored. I have heard stories about Tim's kindness to others, not so much with some other car show presenters.
A few basic errors… it’s Sir Roger Moore… and it was an AC Aceca…… pronounced aseeka……. Which, IMHO was the best show, the reveal to the owner was classic eye watering stuff….. so deserving of the restoration……….
Car Sos is great. This video did leave me thinking it was less than profession. Not the footage used rather the voice overlay was awful and the information already well known. Better luck next time.
Fuzz is great - knowledgeable, entertaining and very watchable. Tim is deeply annoying, esp when he’s trying to be ‘funny’. He spoils an otherwise great format and show.
What are you talking about? Fuzz is great yes, but he's the geek of the show. Tim is the opposite, the clown but the chemistry between him and Fuzz clearly is there and works. Without Tim the show would be just another boring soulless car show with boring people. Car SOS is superb as is for sensible people, hope it will run another nine years.
@@AlexC981 What I’m “talking about” is my personal opinion, like you have yours. For me, Tim adds nothing to the show other than predictable ‘humour’ and juvenile behaviour that isn’t in the least bit entertaining.
@Cecil Well, each to his own, but if you take Tim out Car SOS would be ruined the same Top gear was when original trio left the show. And I'm sorry but many of us need the silly predictable banter and not just boring technical stuff. You won't learn to fix your car from shows like Car Sos anyway, so let it be silly and with heart and soul as intended from the beginning. Tim and Fuzz have a great chemistry togather and that makes the show great really. Personally I couldn't care less what car they did next, I've watched all of them just because the show feels light and unassuming without the "reality drama" crap you see these days.
Out of 10 Sosages I score that video a 1. That was so not a "where they are now" video, full of multiple inaccuracies and clearly made by someone who doesn't know the people involved, the show or cars in general.

There is at least one episode where the owner died of his illness before he could see his new car. It's on RUclips.
Just keep it rolling, for me, never found a show so entertaining and never ever get bored! Have even heard Women might enjoy it!

I spent a couple of hours last week with Fuzz and he is doing very well.

Fuzz was also a drummer for Pop Will Eat Itself.
And I believe Bentley rhythm ace .
That’s why he looked so familiar.. RIP, Ranking Roger..
When was Ross Kemp ever a musician? Please don’t tell me you’re confusing him with either Gary or Martin Kemp, both of whom were in Spandau Ballet!! 🙄
Yip think he got a bit mixed up with the kemps there 😂
