    What a beast of a tree! 1:21 Never harvested chaga before. I've heard a bit of the good properties that it can have for health.

    It’s always nice to find some out in the field because it’s expensive to buy it.
    I have been making tea with it off and on since 2015, good video.

      @@caseyoingo6440 yes not cheap for sure! I often look beside rivers and creeks, seems to be abundant👍have been drinking it for roughly the same time. My supervisor from work told me about it, and I was very intrigued to find out all i could about it 🙂

      @@depthspader8820 it's lots of fun going around looking for it. I have a few people a year who approach me for some, and I like to make tea so always need a good amount on hand👍

      @@jsteelsadventureandvarietyyeah, I found chaga tea to be pretty good, really didn't taste too much different than regular tea.

    Hi Janson, what is Chaga?
    Is it something you use to smoke meat perhaps??
    I’ve never seen it before,

      @@mdmelbourne6076 I have done a few videos about it. Years ago I was in Doug's channel "Pine tree line" explaining the benefits of chaga, then we harvest and make tea from fresh chaga

    That's great stuff. Have you ever come across something that looks like Chaga on a birch but isn't? Knowing me I'd probably slice off a chunk of poisonous fungi. 😅

      @@flynorthproductions I have seen imposter chaga only once in all my hunting. It was wooden inside and didn't have the color so not easily mistaken👍

    A lot of this grows in a Birch outside my door in the park here in Uppsala, Sweden. People have taken some pieces, i guess its the local medicine tree.

    Just watched a video about Chaga , it’s saying it’s also good for people who have Crohn’s disease,
    My daughter just got diagnosed with Crohn’s,
    There’s no cure for that and this is the first time I’ve heard someone actually say it helps with gut health

      @@mdmelbourne6076 it has many benefits, my brother in laws dad bumped his white blood cells up like crazy with chaga. It has similar properties as our skin🤷‍♂️ I think its 36% the same as our dna, people with lung cancer apparently smoke it, as I have read

      @ very interesting, it doesn’t grow here in Australia but in Canada it’s abundant, it’s the cold weather that it flourishes in, plus we don’t have Burch trees

      @ probably but i can’t see what species of plant it would in danger, definitely not out Eucalyptus trees, we don’t have many native species that I can think of, nothing like the Burch tree

    I know you told me about Chaga before, but I did some revision anyway.
    Big Farmacuticals (sic) will not like the anti cancer benefits. How can they make their billions of dollars per year with people like you flouting the system 😏

      @@adzoutnabout888 lol your right Adam🤷‍♂️ and I have been at it for years!! dispersing it to whoever will try it🙂 an older man I know mega boosted his white blood cells with it recently and his Dr. Just about sh it his shorts when he seen the results, told him to keep doing what he is doing
