Tip, before putting new button into housing plug it in and press to see if it works and not faulty. The lock should pop the release. If successful refit in reverse. Prevents fitting everything to then find out new button not working...
Do you have a video about replacing the actuator? My button is needing repair but my car keys have never worked on my car boot since I've owned it so I'm assuming now it's the actuator that might be faulty aswell.
