  • Today I’ll be going over some questions and answers about the new gun ban and am mostly pulling from the Goal.org website so credit to them for the great info!
    Unfortunately bill H.4885 has passed both the house and senate and is just waiting to be signed into law by none other than Maura Healey herself.
    If you have more questions please ask them in the comments, and make sure to like, and subscribe to my channel for more firearms and ammunition content for restricted states!

    Our corrupt Legislators, can take their Law and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. The Law violates the Constitution, they do not have the power to make such a Law.
    Massachusetts legislature has no legal lawful Constitutional authority or jurisdiction to pass any gun laws or bans whatsoever under
    1.) The supremacy clause. 2.) Article 4 Section 2 Paragraph 1. 3.) 2nd. Amendment shall not be Infringed clause. 4.) 9th Amendment, enumeration clause. 5.) 10th Amendment, nor prohibited by it to the States clause. 6.) No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States clause combined.

    Target sports USA is great for ammo. Not the cheapest but super convenient if you buy in bulk. Based in CT

    I saw the writing on the wall with HD.4420 and bought a home in NH last October. The goal is to make everything so difficult and time consuming that you just say F it .

    Pass this on to your club. I just sent this to GOAL.
    Hello, I had sent a valid question days ago concerning this ‘new law’ being implemented on 8-1, GOAL never responded. It was a question as to why GOAL/NRA did not immediately put a TRO on this ‘law’ that was just passed so as to keep gun owners from harm while letting it go through the courts for review,
    GOAL and the NRA need to address that question. Gun club members/ gun owner’s in general all over the state are wondering why they send you money and you do nothing with it to protect them from the harm this bill does?
    Again, our bigger concern is Why GOAL did not immediately put a TRO, (temporary restraining order) against this attack on our 2A to halt it so it would do no harm and give the courts a chance to look at it, up to and including SCOTUS??
    GOAL would not, had not returned a reply to my question on that, they only want your money, shut up and just send us money……no different than the NRA! Useless!

      It hasn't been signed yet so it's not technically a law yet. The courts can't/won't put a TRO on something that isn't signed into law yet. They have to file as soon as it's signed in by the governor. I've already seen requests by legal offices looking for plaintiffs for the lawsuit, so they'll likely be filing before the ink has even dried

    No semi autos for hunting is going to hurt duck hunting and someone like me who has limited use of one arm where using a pump shotgun is not possible but a semi-auto shotgun is possible. A Remington model 8 from one hundred and twenty years ago is going to be banned because it is semi-auto and has a barrel shroud. That is insane!

    • @RestrictedAmerica
      @RestrictedAmerica  2 месяца назад

      No stuff that is older than 2024 is pretty much automatically grandfathered in and still transferable for the most part. But yes it’s ridiculous that they’re trying to ban new ones!

    I get mixed opinion when this travesty goes into effect. I hear its signed aug 1st but wont go into effect until a month or two after. Do you have any insight on this?

    • @RestrictedAmerica
      @RestrictedAmerica  2 месяца назад +1

      So it depends on what part of the bill. The “Assault style” firearm ban goes into effect August 1st. The rest goes into effect around mid October and beyond that. Theres many different dates in the actual bill. As far as the guns and mags sold I think that will vary from store to store and what they are comfortable doing!

    Regarding black powder...components of modern ammunition. The way I'm understanding, to own a black powder or at least rifled barrel you will now need an fid?

  • @moushunter
    @moushunter 2 месяца назад +1

    Have they determined a difference between a front stock and a barrel shroud or is a normal AR type front stock a shroud?

    • @RestrictedAmerica
      @RestrictedAmerica  2 месяца назад

      It definitely doesn’t matter for guns you already own it’s all grandfathered in but for guns going forward I think it has to be connected somehow and can’t be the primary use of shrouding the hand from the barrels heat.

    So fid could but can't anymore with semi auto rifle/shotgun? So if the law is reversed you can? I tried buying low capacity rifle before August and they said I couldn't.

    will I still be able to transfer ARs and stuff I already own after August 1st?? and did I hear that my rifles I had pre 2016 can now have collapsible stocks and threaded barrels and not go by the old features list??
    edit: also Maura Healey signed the law yesterday

      Hi, you should still be able to transfer anything u had pre August 1st 2024 but hopefully there will be more clarity on that in the week or so. I would say to keep your pre 16 stuff pinned and welded for now again until confirmation comes from one of the GOAL lawyers like Jason Guida!

    Never buy ammo from MA stores... 90% of them rip you off.

    • @Satchel456

      100% - it sucks double now because this won't allow shipments of ammo to private addresses anymore, additionally the law mentions tracking and reporting ammo sales from MA licensed dealers - screw that

      I wouldn’t worry about that section. The same section of law already exists they’re just literally copying it word for word. I doubt online retailers will stop shipping to Mass!

    If a semi automatic PPC rifle or handgun was purchased through an LLC shop in the past 5 or 10 years, are they automatically registered and no further action is required before 8/1/2024?
