      I know, I was like maybe outside of the states but even then Atlanta was the most well known and largest city south of DC north of Miami and east of the Mississippi.

      @@atilla4372When you’re young, you can believe something you recently learned is “new” and that since they didn’t know, others must not either. This is most obvious in the trend of “hacks.” They think they’ve invented a new way to crack an egg, and since their 18YO roommate didn’t know about it, it must be a “genius hack.” 😂

      You’re in your American bubble. It’s more well known today, but that was 1996. It was way smaller, especially compared to other host cities like Beijing, London, or Rio.
